Jesus, this is being torn to shreds online.
I wonder if Warner are ******** themselves right now.

It will make money regardless of how good it is, but the longterm implications and investment must be a concern.

Long-term people will go see them anyways just like with this. The movie doesn't need to be good it just needs to set-up the next and the studio to keep hype going for the next. That's what it's all about these days. The hype machine

After watching the trailer again, I liked it better.

I guess I was expecting a different, darker tone when I watched it the first time... so I didn't know what to think :lol

Kinda iffy about Lex, but I think in the end he will be enjoyable. I think Ben, Henry and Gal will bring the goods.

Eisenberg is embarrassingly bad :lol

This is going to be MOS all over again, without a shadow of a doubt.

BTW Leon Kennedy already beat Poopsday.

Love this one from AICN:

"I know I thought while reading Miller's Dark Knight, "you know what this needs?"

A wacky Lex Luther, Batman updated to be younger, and some good knee slappers.
The "I thought she was with you" line would have been better with a needle scratching a record sound effect."

:lol

Yeah, yeah. But still, technically if the blacklash is big enough they can just say "Uhh, this was like, uh, totally not Doomsday guys, heh. Doomsday's coming down the line. It's in the plan, totes honest." and have the real Doomsday show up in a Superman movie. Maybe this is a weird version of Bizzaro...

That's possible. Could just be a mutated Zod that these 3 heroes kill only to kick off the whole can't be killed the same way twice and becoming the Doomsday we all know.

Or not.

Even the worst trailer ever won't affect this movie's opening weekend box office much. However, poor reviews will likely hurt the movie's legs. Considering the movie's early hype and the fact that there's still A LOT of people out there who actually liked the new trailer, marketing and reviews could just make the difference in crossing the billion dollar mark. Even if the movie fails to hit a billion and makes $800m-$900m, it's still a considered a success and gives financial reason to move forward with the rest of the DCEU.

It's the Independence Day of the CBMs.

It has a 90's vibe, imo.

Just wait until the next trailer:

"This is why Martian Manhunter works alone."

Yup, Letoker will show up in a cameo getting a new tattoo on his ass or something. :dunno To be honest, the more I watch the trailer the more things I like, but right now, Luthor and Doomsday are the only things I'm not a fan of, but maybe Luthor is just acting silly and Doomsday....meh.

Regardless of how BvS turns out I definitely think we've got some kickass solo Batman and WW movies on the way. I think Gadot looks great in costume, though I'm one of the few that never really had an issue with her physique.

I still think JL can be awesome, especially if the nightmare scene is foreshadowing or a vision given to Bruce Wayne by another character. Maybe that's the "nightmare", Darkseid is controlling Superman and those flying creatures are Darkseid's army...it looks like them.

Or he's ZodZaro and the real Doomsday is a Kryptonian monster as teased in that MOS deleted scene/extra. I sure hope that's the case...
