Why would Lex even know who Clark Kent is for that matter let alone make a big deal of him meeting Bruce Wayne. Weird.

Exactly. We as the audience should be saying "OMG they're finally meeting," but why the hell would Lex. I never got the impression that Clark was this famous reporter and that him meeting a celebrity would be this big tabloid moment but the BvS trailer is certainly suggesting that that's how we should take it. Otherwise Lex himself is just having a "fanboy" moment which makes no sense at all.

Maybe they're going the route with him and Clark being childhood "friends", and Lex building his empire from scratch.

Snyder's "vision" my @$$. The guy's a grade-A ********* who takes every chance to praise himself and "note" how this movie is going to go down in the history books. Zack, you've directed a movie about schoolgirl ninjas and warrior owls, while your crowning achievement was a movie about 300 beefcakes. I don't think you're entitled to being so full of yourself...

Like their movies or not, Marvel started from the bottom. Literally. They took a C-Lister and turned him into an A-Lister "overnight". You might not like any of their movies and that's fine, but you've got to at least accept the fact that they made an empire out of nothing. Meanwhile, Snyder's the rich kid with access to all the toys, who's talking smack behind his daddy's bodyguards. His "flavor of the week" comments are in really bad taste IMO and he just keeps on going. I'm almost hoping that the movie fails so that he can finally shut up...

That's why I used the "......"

:lol

Gosh it was so dumb to reveal Doomsday. They could have still had that WW moment where she saves Batman WITHOUT showing who they were fighting since the earlier scenes just made it seem like Lex was resurrecting Zod. So let us all go in expecting Zod 2.0 and then BAM Doomsday. Sigh.

Well, in a way, Doomsday is Zod 2.0 for all intents and purposes.

I think you know what I meant.

Yeah, yeah. But still, technically if the blacklash is big enough they can just say "Uhh, this was like, uh, totally not Doomsday guys, heh. Doomsday's coming down the line. It's in the plan, totes honest." and have the real Doomsday show up in a Superman movie. Maybe this is a weird version of Bizzaro...

It is interesting that they continue to make Batman the "voice" of the internet with regard to Hopeman's "heroics" at the end of MOS. That's one way to endear him to fans I guess. I wonder if he'll actually call him Hopeman at some point. :lol

Watched the trailer again. Still thought it looked very exciting. Man, I'm just loving everything they've got going on with Affleck as Batman. I think he just might be the best yet. Didn't realize that his batvoice was actually synthesized, as if the suit is doing it. Very cool!

Not sure how WW's metal shield was supposed to deflect an atom bomb explosion but whatever, it looked really cool. :lol

Man what a disappointing trailer overall, the movie better over-deliver against this trailer. Anyone else think the editing for the last part of the trailer seemed like something out of a Carls Jr commercial? Music stops, Batman says "Oh sh#@", WW saves the day, cheesy quip between Bats and Supes, then the music resumes with the trinity in slow-mo. Not to mention the humor seemed completely out of place when all the prior marketing for this film has been gritty and serious.

To the general cinema going audience Doomsday = generic boring monster.
Doomsday is the definition of "generic boring monster" in comiX anyway. :lol
I loved how he was made into a governmental anti-superman project in DCAU.

Yeah, an intense and gritty movie can have humorous elements but they've got to be careful that they don't undercut the film's tone by being too up front about it in the trailer. Imagine if the very first ALIENS trailer that had all those awesome scenes of people running and screaming with that freaky screaming alarm going off and then right at the end as "ALIENS" appears on the screen you hear "Game over man, gave over!" :lol

So he's Superman's "Veronica?" The Hulkbuster was a huge crowdpleaser and wasn't something audiences had ever seen before. Doomscavetroll might be a mistake, especially so soon after we got an army of trolls doing crazy awesome things just a short while ago in BOTFA.
