I liked the scene, especially Battfleck's reaction to Sups threat...and the way he was kind of looking down, and then looks up Robert De Niro style and says, "Do you bleed?" That was cool.
Yeah exactly, that was great :lol :duff

So far in every clip from BVS Cavill only has two facial expressions, angry and less angry.
That's pretty much Superman most of the time when he's doing business.

I remember a comic where Young Supes meets earth 2 Older Supes where he's super efficient and can see every possible threat in the planet and stuff, so he's like saving someone every minute, therefore he doesn't have time for nonsense or small talk with his younger self and always has a stoic look on his face, and young Supes turns and tells earth 2 Lois something like "do I grow up to be that ******?" :lol

Gully forgives no one :lol

It would've worked better in his robo suit though.

I'm trying, but I can't see what's so cool about Batfleck's robo-voice inquiring if Ka-El's had his first period yet.

:dunno

I think the voice is fine. It's better than Affleck's natural voice, imo. The robo voice doesn't hinder the delivery of his lines and we can understand him. It is practical too, and it makes sense for a guy who uses so much technology to have a voice altering devise to do that for him, unlike the previous Batmans...assuming the previous Batman's voice change was not the suit also.

I actually think Affleck's natural voice, a slightly digitally altered, would've sufficed, and saved the techno voice for the armor. But yeah it doesn't hinder anything really.

I do like the "Do you bleed" line though, a lot, I know it's very in your face the whole god aspect of Supes in this version, but that's just the perfect thing to ask a "god", since gods in various mythologies aren't supposed to bleed.

Do you think we'll see this Superman bleed? In the last film he took a beating from a bunch of Kryptonians, the world engine, and that octopus thing and he had zero physical damage, not even a little scratch.

I hope so, I hope kryptonite is a real weakness, BUT it has to come in extremely short supply. Like when people immediately use them as first resource against Supes in arguments, and it shouldn't be so, Kryptonite is supposed to be impossible to find, cost a fortune and lots of time to synthesize, but pack a punch.

Yeah, people act like they sell that stuff at the store.

I just thought of something, Superman tells Batffleck, "Next time they shine your light in the sky, don't go to it." What does Batman do? He does it himself when he uses the batsignal :rock:yess:

Batman looks great in this shot.

Doomsday will make him bleed.

But yea, Batman asking that is silly. He saw first hand Superman get punched through several buildings without a scratch.......

Maybe batman is asking If he bleeds when he goes to the bathroom to take dumps.

Maybe batman suspects that superman has terrible hemorrhoids,

Human food can't be that great for him

Sorry but what a cheesefest!:rotfl :rotfl.
Double whammy cheddar of Cavill's terrible acting with added parmesan grated on top with that hilarious batman robot voice.
Then grill with some mozzarella scripting... "Do you Bleed?" ha!

The voice, what a stupid idea, you can see his mouth?!! It makes no sense to have a vocoder/electronic treatment of his voice.
In the armor.. sure no problem but out in the open air it's idiotic. :lol

Yeah Cavil was uncharacteristically wooden. I think the line wasn't dubbed over well either

Batman was great he just looks weird and podgy in that shot looking up

People on social media going crazy for this clip.

Come onto SSF and it gets ripped apart. :lol

Man you guys are a tough crowd.

I think it was epic! And delivered more of what we seen in the first couple of trailers.

I thought the performance was wooden too, but I'm hoping that's just part of the Clark Kent persona. I really don't like the Batman voice, but hopefully it changes when I see the movie.

I've only seen Watchmen and Man of Steel so I could be wrong, but from what I've seen, Zack Snyder doesn't seem like an actor's director. I don't know if he's directed dramas before, but I don't think it's his strength. Like Clown Prince said, if people are waiting for this film to get good reviews to get them to see it, I don't think they should bother. Although, I think people should read the reviews to see what the critic's problem is before dismissing a movie, or see what the critic liked before seeing a movie, because everyone has different tastes. I like the Dark Knight Rises, but I can understand why people say it's lousy because the plot, themes, and characterizations are a mess. There were just things I liked about that film that worked as a net positive for me (specifically, everything with Alfred and the atmosphere and dialogue in that first Bane fight). There's films out there that don't have many issues with the plot or characterizations, but I can't stand the dialogue or acting, so I can't enjoy the film. I'm not a film critic, so my judgement of whether something is a quality film doesn't really matter. Whether I can take something good from a film is what matters.

In any case, I'm glad for these trailers because I know what to expect. I'm expecting it's going to be like Watchmen where the scenes are going to feel stiff and the story isn't going to flow naturally, but it's going to have cool visuals and I'm just going to have to fill in the gaps for myself. If people aren't digging the trailers, I don't think they're going to like the movie. I really like the visuals, so I know I'm going to enjoy it.

I actually love most of Synders movies. Suicide Bunny or whatever it's called was the only nonsensical stinker, but that's cause he also wrote it. I feel the strength of the actors save however poorly he directs them, so it's a good thing he always gets to notch talent. So I don't think we have anything to worry about.

I'm sure within context of the movie it'll all come off better. But I agree that robot voice doesn't look right coming out of a human mouth. Would be better if it was just the robo suit that had that

It'll be more jarring than Bales voice in the long haul I think so hopefully he calms it down around people he knows like Alfred

Well, I'm glad you've enjoyed them! I hope you really like BvS! Despite my problem with Watchmen, I've watched it 4 times! The only superhero movies that I watch that many times are the Dark Knight Trilogy, Iron Man, and Spider-man 2.

For the most part, the acting in his films is usually not really good, but oddly enough he always has like one or two actors that give really memorable performances.
