I still think that Bryan Singer casting Kevin Spacey in his two and a half hour Richard Donner tribute/fan film should qualify as a crime against humanity, because, after seeing House of Cards, I think Spacey was a perfect choice who was just wasted in a mediocre movie.

Why even mention that movie about Kal-El, the deadbeat space dad?

Its been said before but Billy Zane would have made a perfect adaption of the cartoons Luther

But there are so many better actors, just because a guy is bald and white doesn't make him the perfect guy to play Lex Luthor. Same goes for Cranston, i was originally far more excited when Joaquin Phoenix was rumored for the role. All they had to do was shave his head.

Cranston would have nailed the roll, but the haters would pile it on more as seeing Superman beating up an old man.

I'm not saying that. He also has the commanding tone to his voice. He is the real life equivalent if you ask me. But unfortunately his career went no where.

I personally was really looking forward to a Joaquin Luther, but talks fell through. He didn't like to e attached which is why he only does small or indie movies now

Are people picking potential Luthor actors because they are bald?!
:rotfl :lol

Bzzz... Bzzzzzzz what's that noise? Oh it's a shaver taking 2 minutes to remove a great actors hair.

(At least Cranston is a tremendous actor)

they could've gone balls to the wall and made luther a big old black guy.

Idris Elba already played a guy called 'Luther' on UK TV.. woohoo - shoe in! :lol

Seriously though, Billy Zane would've been excellent as Luthor, for sure. He's not bald normally these days is he?

I'll also stick to my earlier pick of James Spader - 100% perfect right there.

Cranston, Phoenix, Jesus, Elvis...Doesn't really matter who was cast in this movie, people would still be tearing it apart as they're doing now.

Cranston was in Godzilla and yes, was the best part in it until they killed him off. Him being in the movie didn't make it any better, in fact killing him off half way actually made what was already a terrible movie even more terrible in the last hour or so.

I'm with you there. He made the first half watchable.

Unlike most of the world, Eisenberg doesn’t bother me much at all, especially since most of what we saw from him so far was comedic moments. The more serious moments have been my problem because they’re coming off way too cheesy to me.

To me Batman Begins is the highest quality Batfilm by far, even better than probably every MCU film except possibly The Winter Soldier. However my "desert island" Batfilm would probably still be Batman 89. I just find myself revisiting it slightly more often.
