I'm not a fan of either movie but I don't see how Avengers was better than MOS. Maybe the action was equal but that's about it for me.

Then just watch the Punisher. Batman saves lives, him being violentbis just means to that end and he takes it no further. The Punisher kills criminals, and saving lives is just a side effect of him killing really bad people.

So the Punisher is who you want. No need to make Batman that way.

Have to agree, Whedon is the worst of the worst. His movies are Transformers level of bad.

The funny thing Is that Snyder never had a mob of thousands of rabid, furious, insane fans wishing he was dead Like joss whedon had...

For all the hate Snyder gets, I never actually saw any death threats or stalking cases because of MOS.

I was partly joking but it always rubs me the wrong way when newbies try to get into the bants before knowing anybody.
