What I liked about Man of Steel was that it gave Superman some repercussions that he couldn't time travel or kiss away, villains that didn't just stand around and wait for Superman to save people at his own pace, and regular people attempting to fight the threat and not being culturally dependent on Superman. Unfortunately, the execution isn't to my liking, but I appreciated what they were attempting since I loathed Superman as a character growing up on the level that Star Wars fans dislike Jar-Jar-Binks. Even though I don't have as much negativity against the character as I did back then (unless I think about the end of Superman the movie and Superman II), seeing Batman punch Superman on the big screen is a big wish-fulfillment. And now that I just thought of those movies, my animosity for Supes is back. MAKE HIM BLEED, Batman! :lol Is there such thing as anti-nostalgia? Because I think that's what I have for Supes. :lol

That was one thing that always hated about Superman II, the military were complete morons. Same with all the cops in Nolans Batman being complete morons except Gordon.

US Special Forces were also morons in TDKR.

I see your TDKR and I raise you MOS.

:lol

If I were Superman I wouldn't be attending United Nations press conferences, stopping petty crime, or pretend to be a news reporter. I'd be trying to impregnate every woman on the planet as fast as I could. Well not every woman, but you know what I mean. That's what a true Übermensch would do. Nothing would be more fullfilling than a billion lil' DiFabio's running around. Superman should be all about that wish fullfillment, not being a sad, depressed bro that doesn't fit in with the world. This guy is the strongest there is, is invincible and can ****ing fly around the world in less than 60 seconds and he's only banging a crappy journalist and his step mom? C'moooon.

Oh, I can't wait until this crowd starts hearing about JUSTICE LEAGUE stuff...

:lol

Wonder Woman watching Amanda Waller/Lex Luthor superhuman surveillance footage of Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg on her laptop?

I think that will actually play out well to people, especially a certain nautical sequence. I lost it when I saw the glowing eyes in that cavern and I don't even care for that character. Much better than a cliched post credits scene.

Super kids with a pissy entitlement grudge? Ben Solo would agree..

Just so long as it's really all building to Justice League Detroit, obviously directed by David Ayer, and Justice League Antarctica, obviously directed by James Gunn, then I'm good.

The only way a random alien's DNA would be compatible is if they somehow explain a common genetic link between humans and Kryptonians. . .and the only way I see them doing that is to bring back the mother****ing codex storyline. And I ain't gonna stand for that ****. So no, I reject your statement.

Oh man. :lol

It seems like BvS would be a good jumping off point for Snyder. Giving him the Justice League will be like if Whedon was given Infinity War. A mistake, IMO. Even at his "best" Snyder is an iffy choice for MOS and BvS. Now running the risk of him getting burned out and releasing an even poorer product for their biggest tentpole yet? Not a good risk.

Probably for the best that that never happened.

Also, Fury Road was probably better than any other comic book movie in existence.
That would have been a disaster I think. Now there was a wonder woman that would have driven people off the deep end. Megan Gale.. personality of a cheese cracker.

I remember being fully on board with Whedon doing Age of Ultron. I was wrong.
