While I agree with everyone that Batfleck seems like the best thing about this movie. . .he's still in a Snyder/Goyer joint. Lest we forget, "Do you bleed?" and "I thought she was with you!"

All of that stuff just makes it more awesome to me. :dunno

Nowadays the poodle is a CGI tornado and the batarang is a CGI Kevin Costner. And it's DEADLY serious. Frowney frown frown.

Hey now, I love the alley fight and cathedral fight in the first Batman. I also love the fights between Batman and Catwoman in Returns (particularly the part where she grabs Batman by the cowl horns and knees him in the face).

It's just that there are aspects of that whole Batarang scene that are kinda silly to me. The ducking motion, the poodle, the ****ing screen on the Batarang that makes it look like a little Tiger electronics hand held game . . .

There already rumors that the rough cut of the film got a standing ovation back in August, and the take away was Ben-Affleck's Batman was so good that it caused them to change the direction of their universe. I don't remember any comments on Eisenberg's Luthor or Cavill's Superman, so the rumor isn't crazy. Lex Luthor is my favorite comic book villain , but I don't like anything I've seen from him in the trailers, so I'm not going to expect to like him in the film. I can't be up and arms about Superman, because I now despise Superman. That's why Lex Luthor is my favorite villain.:lol The stuff people got upset about in Man of Steel, I've seen him do all the time in the cartoons and comics, and that's why I'm really looking forward to the court scene and I love Batman's "It's time you learned what it means to be a man. (Or whatever it was that he said.)

My only hype stems from Batman and Alfred, and even if the film only has a half hour of Batman and Alfred goodness, it's worth it for me. They both look and sound great.

It's like you're trying to make me love it even more and it's totally working.

Scoot Mcnairy is not Jimmy Olsen, Jimmy isn't in this. This guy is Wally Keys. He's a Wayne employee that Bruce saves. He's a cripple and anti-Superman. Luthor uses him for sympathy. The guy has a change of heart about Superman during the trial but is ultimately used to blow up and kill everyone at the congress meeting.
