Yea this could actually be good news, getting rid of Snyder would be a great move.

this seems like a load of crap, its more like someone saying something and its now news, just like all those leaked scripts that come from reliable sources... right

It's a start......but to be fair to Snyder.....whoever they bring in would toe the line simply with a different style. None of these films will be ground breaking or original it depends on whether you enjoy how the writers / directors presented the "formula" on screen.

Make fun of Snyder all you want but if he's responsible for that warehouse fight then props to the dude for creating what is the single best cinematic Batman action ever.

I don't think they need to be groundbreaking, good acting and a compelling enough story inspired by the comics would suffice. Snyder is great at aesthetics but that's really it, he definitely shouldn't be the guy overseeing the DCEU.

A Affleck directed Batman movie first would be great!

First I have to see if he's actually a decent Batman because I'm not sold on Affleck as an actor, but he's certainly a good director.

You came to that conclusion from a trailer.....wow

:lol :lol :lol

From what I saw, the warehouse stuff shown in the trailer seemed a bit over the top. Batman literally threw a guy across the room, that stuff is fine for the comics and cartoons but for the movies it's a bit too much.

I'd hope no one at this point expects any of these films to be ground breaking. It is simply how the director / writers bring the story to life. I'm not a fan of Snyder's visions thus far.....even the best 10 secs cinematic vision of Bats in a ware house. :lol. I'll wait until I see it all together then see if I feel differently about Snyder's vision of the DC Universe

All I can say is "if that's what he's capable of being 'rusty in his old age,' then what the hell was he like in his prime?" :horror

Didn't you read Evilface's post?

"Keep that realism out of my cbm"

Oh, and he also wrote:

"pturtle, go watch TDK if you think this Batman throwing a guy across the room is a bit too much!"

:lol

I don't think this is true, but I would be happy if DC just invested in making Batman Universe films. My interest in the Justice League film, outside of Batman, is Darkseid, but maybe they'd do something with him like the New 52 or the recent animated movies, and I'd have not interest in it. Not knocking the New 52 because I appreciate new interpretations of characters. Heck, New 52 Mr. Freeze is better than the original, and as much as I like the Batman TAS episode Heart of Ice, it's a one shot episode that killed potential for him as a villain.

Anyways, I wish the best for Zack Snyder and crew! I've never been so excited for a movie in my life, so no matter what happens, I'm thankful that he got this un-compromised Batman on the big screen. I'm just hoping the movie is good.

I have no doubt that the film will make a ton a money, not TFA numbers but it will bring in some cash. It's a comic book flick, which are still a somewhat hot genre these days. But will the audience be receptive to this new rendition of classic heroes is another thing. Marvel made their stance with fun if sometimes goofy movies that brought together comic book heroes for the first time anywhere. Marvel did something that DC should have done decades before especially since they are owned by a movie company. Now it seems like DC is rushing to even the field by making their classic heroes more serious and edgy. A move that not everyone is in favor of and has seperated their audience which brings attention to their movies but not always in a positive way. Snyder has been described by some as a fanboy director creating sections of movies because it sounded cool without any real reason behind it. A type of director that DC needed to bring its characters to the screen quickly. In my opinion putting Batman and Superman in a movie together was an impulsive move that was made after the Man of Steel failed to get the reaction they wanted. Yes it made money, but the new take on Superman was not accepted. Now with only a little more than a month and a lot of money and a big plan on the line it's only natural that WB gets a little antsy on its BIG movie. And as always in Hollywood any publicity is good publicity.

What I expect out of the justice league movie is something like the animated, Justice league War.

Then I'd love Flashes movie to be the flashpoint paradox. With a Jeffry Dean Morgan thomas Wayne batman, that would be epic
