They're worried because WWEJedi doesn't like either of their movies this year. :panic:

who are you talking about?

Yes, the CG in Apocolypse looks awful, but the acting looks stellar. That film like the one before it is more about great performances, script and storyline.
This doesn't seem to have those qualities so it's fair enough to critique its strengths. It's visuals.

I'm not even going to try a counterpoint to this, you win. :lol

What other big budget movies from the last year to this year look as bad as BvS?

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Jurassic World
Ant-Man
Terminator Genisys
Fantastic 4
Tomorrowland
Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Deadpool

All contain video game levels.

Yeah, I loved the color pallets for The First Avenger. There was something old world retro but still contemporary about it. It had a great look.

To this day, this is probably the only MCU movie I can rewatch multiple times with no problem, alongside TWS. Which is strange, considering I'm not a big Cap fan. I do love his villains though, especially Baron Zemo, so there's that. It's a testament to how good MCU movies could be if there wasn't so much forced humor put into them. But, alas, twas not meant to be...

I was referring to The Farce Awakens but yeah The First Avenger absolutely had a great look to it as well.

But I have a stinking suspicion that you knew that. :lol

WB is worried because it costs $415 million!

I had no idea it cost that much, but I guess I should have since it's Batman vs Superman. Divide that number in half and it sounds like the appropriate budget for a big blockbuster solo super hero movie.

I do think that Zack Snyder has a tendency towards making his movies look fakey fake with overdone touch ups (here's looking at you, Suckerpunch).

Yep.

It will be a huge hit though
It better top Deadpool's $150 million opening weekend or it will be derided by the media if it doesn't.

Does the $415 include their terrible marketing campaign? Usually the marketing amount is almost half of whatever the budget was...so this is a very expensive movie if $415 is just the budget . If it gets really bad reviews, and that's very likely, then it might not even beat Deadpool's opening numbers.

Can somebody tell me what kind of a world we live in, where a man dressed up as "Spidey with Guns" gets all of my box office? This town needs an enema!

I didn't see those and wasn't sure when they came out (I'm getting 2014 and 2015 movie years mixed up), but yeah, add those to the list as well.

:lol:lol

Not just that, DD in just 9 days has already made more than all of the Wolverine movies and X MEN, X2, and X Men First class. So much for Wolverine being the most popular character :lol

How many of those had great performances, witty well written scripts and original storylines?

You can take Star Wars, Ant-Man and Deadpool off that list, they all had a lot more going on than VFX.
Ultron had some of the worst CG I've seen in years, a very messy final edit, but some terrific performances and an entertaining clever script.

I haven't seen a single decent bit of script from BVS so far, perhaps they are holding back on the great performances too until the release. Point is so far they have based the marketing on the visuals, and they ain't that great. 400+ million plus probably half that again in marketing? Years of post production it should look like ****ing 2001 or Metropolis in 2016. No wonder WB are ******** their Prada suits.
