On the contrary, the WATCHMEN credits sequence is pure Zack (aside from the titles text itself... that was done by an FX company... Maybe that's what you heard Levin referring to?). Zack wrote and shot every image in that sequence (with the exception of the Hiroshima shot, which was all CG). He even filmed the"news" footage of a burning Vietcong seen on the black & white TV.

Edited to add: He even filmed a cool gag that he ultimately cut out of that sequence: The Comedian raising the U.S. flag on Iwo Jima BY HIMSELF. I guess he figured that might piss off one too many people. :lol

Yeah I read about the cut elements. I adored the title sequence, I know Snyder conceptualised (as a way to get the movie going) it but I thought a company like Imaginary Forces actually created it? I need to check, will ask Lloyd.
I must admit I don't remember but I do recall seeing a making of reel. Regardless it's superb.
:lol

Justice League costumes. Looks like a new Batman cowl, hopefully with longer ears.

looks good, a lot of "muscle suits" going on in the DC films it seems tho, think it will give a great look overall but depends if the actors actually fill them out or not. Affleck as Batman and Bruce seem to be different sizes which is my one very minor gripe of that costume.

For whatever reason 2016 really feels so much more competative than any other superhero cbm year.

I can't wait to see which movie will be crowned best superhero cbm of 2016.

I feel like AoU was yesterday. I need a break from that group. I'm sure Civil War will be very good/great but I'm more excited for BvS and SS by a pretty good margin.

I agree with the khev.

I was thinking that the inclusion of Black Panther and
Giant Man
would elevate CW to most wanted for me but i'm honestly more giddy for BvS.

I am such a sucker when it comes to the Bat and his car.

The warehouse scene just solidified it for me.

Plus the afterglow party here will be much more entertaining for BvS I'm sure. :lol

Civil War will be all "It was great!" or "It wasn't my favorite but still competent," etc.

But you never know *what* you're going to get with a Zack Snyder joint. Who could have ever anticipated the lolnado suicide?

Yeah lolnado will continue rewarding us for a long time to come.

I will give Snyder these:

I love Watchmen.
I love 300.
I love the samurai scene in Sucker Punch.

C'mon, 300 might not have the best narrative out there but it was ground breaking.

It is such a manly action movie.

Those abs, those capes, those sandles, the slow mo, the gore, that sex scene, those grunts, Leonidas's voice!

WIN!

Sure its no First Blood or Die Hard, but still lots of fun.

I hated that film when I first saw it. I hate the slow motion "action." It's a nice looking movie because it looks like the comic and I'll admit that King Leonadis looks cool...maybe even iconic, but I HATE that movie. In fact, the only Snyder movies I like are MOS and that zombie film he did was entertaining, but that's it. Watchmen is pretentious and kind of boring. Rorschach is super cool looking though.
