I looked at it as his spiritual Fortress of Solitude.

When Superman told Lois that his homeworld was gone on her balcony that felt pretty damn poignant.

Two different scenes with two different takes.....Pa Kent - still don't buy it. I did (for a moment) think he was walking (????) to the Fortress of Solitude. Why were either one wearing winter garb? Superman goes in space, Clark was alone and Pa was deceased.....

Supes and Lois after the Capital incident, I bought that scene and the aftermath.

I was in the mood to add an extra scene....glad I picked one you liked. :lol

I got that too. One thing about Superman that always seemed sad to me is that in these movies beyond the need to help he always seemed alone.

Hot Toys is making 1:1 versions of me now. I'm pretty expensive, but worth it.

The build up and Capital scenes are stunning- unexpected, important and key story point that broke the camel's back on motivations for both Batman and Superman- one of the finest parts of the film.

I'm looking fowards to seeing this again. I saw it in standard 2d but I would like to see it on the IMAX although it's only the last act of the movie that would benefit from IMAX.

I love the soundtrack too! :rock

The music certainly elevated that scene when Wayne opened up that paper he was holding telling him he let his family die.

:lol. I enjoyed a lot of the movie....felt it had great potential that fell flat in many places due to unneeded, rushed, poorly sliced content. I have my personal thoughts on Pa Kent but it's part of the, film soooooo either like it or not. Don't like Doomsday either but that is too big a fish to fry.....another piece that had me all over the place was the ending.....

Funeral....Bats confronting Luther, Bruce walking in a field then back to the funeral for the tossing of the dirt. whaaaaa .....:lol

Batman vs. Superman is where you go when you admit to yourself that you’ve exhausted all possibilities... It’s somewhat of an admission that the franchise is on its last gasp.

i heard someone say zack is taking it really hard now? I know you said he wasn't taking the hate serious but is he still ok?

How hard is he taking it, Zack is going shopping today with the bonus WB gave him for directing a money making movie.

like I said before, it depends on how much it drops next weekend (After word of mouth goes around) Not saying it will drop a lot or anything, but who knows whats going to happen.

It will drop big as most blockbuster openings do- the key is how long it stays in the top three or so in the week or two that follows....wanting to see myself when it hits $1 billion worldwide which can happen prettty fast

@ JAWS :hi5: (I enjoyed the trinity fight better 2nd time around so we're pretty damn cloned on this one!)

I'm just going to come out and say it, that piss jar scene is hands down one of the best plans I have seen done by a villain in any modern superhero comic book movie. The senator started with her rough and tumble persona by saying that she has wrestled pigs on a farm and 1 minute later she was paralyzed in fear knowing something bad was about to happen AND not even the GOD standing 15 feet across from her could do anything about it!

That's a spider on your steering wheel while you're driving level of fear!

C'mon, that's some good villain **** right there!

Ha! Found it.. Don't know how I missed it :)

So this year we have The Witch and this film... At some point we are going to clash :lol

A question... Other then being NUTS. What was Luthor's motivation in this film? Was it just that Superman was an all powerful alien? So were his motivations the same as Batman's?

Don't remember or did they ever explain?
