Oh for heaven's sake you're going to get the biggest damn sigh for being so silly and then a-dev will be pissed. :lecture

It's a silly film. :D

So Lois is aware of meta humans, aliens, and Greek gods or "no really aware of the situation" at all? Which is it?

Well, there are meta humans in suicide squad and Gotham is really close to Metropolis, so surely as reporter she must have heard some stories about meta humans if Batman has been fighting crime for 20 years.

After, there was no monster before.

>Krytonian ship is making noise
>New monster, can't possibly be Kryptonian if it came from the Krytpnian ship right?
>If it's Kryptonian, chances are they could use the spear I just tossed in the water.
>Welp, might as well go back for it, just in case.

Nothing wrong there.

Fair enough, except Batman should have taken the spear with him.

Oh.My.
God.

You know it's true....worried about his identity :lol

As Khev mentions, a lot of folks do seem to have a problem with every little thing not being spelled out for them. This is a visual art...the suits at Warner's took a gamble here picking someone who is more inclined to to their story more with the visuals than the words. I hope they don't chicken out here and try and backstep into making everything the way the reactions and research say it should be.
I posted about this soon after I saw the film, but I'm totally OK with a comic movie having faith in the audience and forcing you to draw your own conclusions about things. But again, I'm not sure that's the intention with this movie. And that's just one more way that the movie is discordant. You get some things that are not well defined or explained, and others where you get bludgeoned over the head. The latter stuff is pretty hard to argue, so is the former stuff intentional, or the result of bad filmmaking? Is Snyder a French impressionist filmmaker, or is he Roland Emmerich? Or some combination of the two? Is this the comic book version of No Country for Old Men? Or Bad Boys? Again, as Khev says, folks will see what they want to with this one.

I tried, Lord Snyder, I tried.

She "heard stories of meta humans" even though we witnessed Batman himself learn of the them for the first time? And all those characters in Suicide Squad are in the "freaks dressed like clowns" club, not aliens or demigods. Bruce himself took one look at Diana and instinctively assumed she was Kryptonian so apparently it's the default assumed origin of any vastly superior being, at least as far as we've seen on screen so far.

But again, there's no reason she would have even looked at the spear and thought "oh that must be the one thing that hurts a Kryptonian," to her it was probably a weapon that could hurt apparently *anything* (even Superman!) so why not try it out on this new character?

:lol

Even Killer Croc? If SS is a prequel to BVS and characters like the Tattoo man and el Diablo exist, then I don't know how Batman can be "shocked" by Flash and Aquaman.

Isn't that the sad truth :lol

I'm warming up to the design but..... Would it hurt to put more spikes? I wonder if it was a producer decision, Snyder is meticulous about looks, he even wanted the red trunks on Supes until Nolan said no.

If memory serves he even wanted to use the John Williams theme until Nolan said ''no, no, use my guy''. At least I think I remember IrishJedi telling us that.

I thought in the BTS of Man of Steel Snyder specifically said that he didn't want superman to wear the red underwear. That it wouldn't make sense in the world they "created" for MOS.

I buy that too :lol

I remember he said he initially wanted to use the red trunks, but then he spoke to Nolan and both "agreed" it wouldn't make sense in that universe.

I don't think anyone took this up when I mentioned it before but does anyone else find it strange that the Zimmer Superman theme never reaches full ''Flight'' in the soundtrack to this film? Or did it, and I had just tuned out when listening to the score?
