Henry Cavill is the Superman I want.
He's not just some perfect vanilla boy scout. He's capable of error, struggles emotionally the way we all do and shows more humanity than superhuman feats.
He's far from perfect and acts out of a desire to give people hope.
How people complain about this real approach to Superman is beyond me.

I would like to see another side of the Cavill Superman though. Maybe a more positive one. He plays a good Superman but he makes being the Man of Steel not fun at all.
I enjoyed the side of Cavill when he was placed in a box, I too found peace........bring on Cage for the resurrection

Yes, watching Hopeman inhale the smell of those charred remains was cinematic genius.
I like that Superman went even darker in BvS.
The look of horror in the faces of fans expecting a Reeve Superman moment in BvS during the congress scene...priceless.
I also loved that Batman used Despicable Me weapons on Superman.
What term are we using to describe Supes darker or realistic 
I don't have a problem with a conflicted hero, I simply find Supes unlikable in whatever classification folks use to describe him. I didn't care he wound up in a box, that Batman made a solemn vow or that he doesn't like green eggs and ham.....the way the character is written, acted doesn't relate to me.
I don't need him to be CR..don't want him to be that'd be boring watching a 2000 take on that character. A few scenes worked in the movie where I began relating to him (Congress being one) but they killed him. Snyder and co. 0-2 building my relationship with a pivotal character in upcoming story lines.

Thor destroyed new York and London Supes only metropolis so thor wins for most deaths caused by a superhero. At least hopeman didn't need help to clean up his mess.

Thor is not the most important Marvel character (Hes not even the most important avenger) and no one really loves his movies.
Man of Stool IS the most important DC character so theres a difference lol
