Godzilla 2014 was a more helpful hero than Supes. He only appeared to deal with the MUTO menace. Godzilla didn't lure the MUTO's to San Francisco. That's why everyone cheered him at the end and would probably weep at his funeral.
But that was Zod who destroyed part of Metropolis...not Hopeman
I know that, I donot agree with any of it which is why I said I was playing Devils advocate. My point of bringing up thor was to show how stupid it is to blame the hero for the actions of the villian.

I know it's not easy being Superman with the world the way it is today and everyone looking to you for help. But he's Superman! When Lois was held hostage by that guy in Aftica he could of stopped him so many other ways that smashing him through a wall. Heat vision, cold breath, wind breath, sonic boom, something. But no he smashes him through the wall. I hope he survived.

I do think they could have shown Sups rebuilding the city...or at least helping, but they didn't. Instead we get Hopeman killing a human in Africa
Nobody has done that to my knowledge. The issue people have with Hopeman is that from the perspective of humans who live on Earth he's a guy that would have served the planet much better by never having arrived at all. Supes is an okay guy in MOS and BvS (except for the couple scenes where he's a smug douche in MOS), but the people of Earth have suffered thousands upon thousands of deaths and destroyed families because of his mere existence, and that's not right. His presence should be a good thing. I was hoping that BvS would show him dealing with a threat that had nothing to do with him so people could finally say "okay it sucks that Zod's people followed him here but if he'd never come then this OTHER guy would have wiped us all out." But that didn't happen. Instead Doomsday was ANOTHER product of Clark's arrival. And now they've gone ahead and already established that Darkseid himself is yet one more extension of events that can all be traced back to...Clark coming to Earth.
Poor, poor humans.He's kind of like Ashton Kutcher in The Butterfly Effect, where he finally realized that every alternate reality always ended horribly because of his own existence until he finally went all the way back and aborted himself in his mother's womb. At some point the only heroic thing Superman will be able to do is spin the universe back so that he can do something similar.

He killed the guy. That's why he didn't put Lois through the wall to get her away from the terrorist.

I don't like these modern Superheroes just cleaning up their own mess. There's nothing heroic about it, imo. I know SuperReeve did the same thing in Superman 2, but it's getting old seeing these heroes just fixing the problems they somehow created.
Not good company to be in if you're Superman. Tony Stark was practically a villain himself in AoU. And any blood on Thor or Hulk's hands will be more than reconciled when they save the Earth from Thanos.

Not good company?? They are supposed to be marvel hero's right.. or are marvel hero's allowed to be like the suicide squad. You can't have different standards for different heroes.
Also why can't Supes hands be reconciled, but thors and hulks can? Supes already stopped Doomsday and I'm sure darksied is next. So your saying darksied comming to earth is superman's fault, but Thanos isn't the avengers fault

Correct, and therein lies the rub. I loved BvS but for me Batman, WW, and Lex carry the film, I was disappointed that Darkseid was specifically linked to Superman's presence, yet again.
Lex used the kryptonian scout ship to contact darksied. That scout ship was not the ship superman came to earth in. How is that his fault.
That ship was parked in Metropolis by Zod who did come to Earth because of Superman. I don't want to think that it's lame that the people of Earth suffer because of Superman's existence so if you've got a decent explanation as to why that isn't the case I'm all ears but so far I haven't seen one.
