That ship was buried in ice and was on earth long before Supes ever arrived. The government was digging at the site and would have found the ship at some point. Supes found it first. Yes he started the ship and that signaled zod, however the government or lex luther would have eventually got to it and triggered the same signal.

Good point. Sups only found it because the "evil" government found it first. Same government that was later shooting up Smallville

Now if you want to blame superman for zod just watch superman 2. That superman throws the missle that frees them from the phantom zone, then forsake s the human race so he can bone lois lane, allowing the 3 kryptonians he freed to take over earth

Atleast the man of steel Supes kept the damage contained to Smallville and metropolis. Reeve Supes let them destroy the white house planet Houston and countless other cities in between

LOL. Superman doesn't kill the terrorist in BvS. Hopefully that will be made more clear with the Extended Cut and be clear when folks frame-by-frame it (Supes actually spins around and is the one who goes through the wall first). Though it happens so super-fast I'm not even sure how many frames it is.

That actually lowers my opinion of this movie even more. It shouldn't have to be seen frame-by-frame in order for us to know the terrorist wasn't killed by Supes, especially when Snyder is so fond of using slow motion. Plus every time they were holding those hearings I kept thinking if Superman hadn't killed that guy he might have been a witness.
