I remember this on a TV show not too long ago. Jaw injury and concussion. Could have been MUCH worse.

That "Right in the kisser!" line (BEFORE she destroys herself) had to be added after the fact during editing. And the whole ending part (where the Renaissance dorks and her partner check on her and she seems magically recovered instantly) was also obviously staged well after it was clear that she was okay. ADs and on-set actual medical personnel (every production has them) would have swarmed in immediately.

Gotta love the magic of television.

It wasn't to make him feel human. It was to make the humans around him more comfortable. Going to all the trouble of making him indistinguishable from a living human would be pointless if he didn't wear an oxygen suit because he didn't technically need it.
