If anything, the movie is worse.

Badly pieced/edited, jumps around, over complicated plot, half the movie could have been taken out. Lots of head scratching stuff that made no sense. Awkward music choices. To much Lois.

Attack of the Clones handled the love scenes better.....

Overall it is a bad movie.
Still like it though.

I think my favorite part of the extended cut was the added dialogue in the scene with Batman about to brand Lex in the prison cell.

So a longer mess? I wonder which version I should show my dad since he doesn't like long movies. The theatrical cut is long anyways, so what's another 30 minutes if the story flows better and Luthor's plan makes more sense.

When are you planning on watching it? I figure if it's still not good for you I'll pass.

Gully Foyle.... what event happened in your life that you feel the constant urge to attempt to make someone feel like a dumb ***? Was it that you were made to feel that way in your childhood? Or is doing the same skit on this site the only thing that brings you joy? I mean, people talk about me, but man, the only time you post is to do this little rehearsed routine over and over and over.

I know it must be hard for you to understand, probably just as hard as it was for cr0w to understand Luthor's plot.... but sometimes, a person can separate the critic from the fan.

Is BvS a fundamentally flawed film, yes it is. From a movie making standpoint, it is a bad movie. Doesn't mean I can't like it. Same goes for Attack of the Clones, Transformers, etc.... I know they are "bad" movies, but it doesn't mean I can't enjoy and like them.

Is The Godfather a fundamentally perfect film. From a movie making standpoint, it just may be. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Watched it twice, don't enjoy it all, but I can recognize it's greatness and impact.

Watching the behind the scenes, wow Ezra actually knows everything about the flash, can't wait to see him in The JL

Keep knocking down straw men all you want, but if you can't take folks pointing out your cognitive dissonance, then don't make it public on the internet.

If you enjoy and like something, then for you it isn't bad.
Your insecurity about liking something unpopular has unhinged you.
If you like it, then forget popular opinion!
Popular opinion is best ignored anyway . . .

Everyone has a class of movies they find "so bad that they're good" or "so bad you have to watch."
Such as:
>Roadhouse
>Highlander 2
>Troll 2
>Black Belt Jones
>Bloodsport
>The Room
>Plan 9 From Outer Space

These are films where we laugh at them, not with them.
They're incompetent, they're absurd, they're horribly acted and some folks absolutely love them for it.

I didn't get the sense that you saw BvS in that light.
You say you genuinely enjoy it, despite pointing out its laundry list of flaws.
There's no need to be so defensive.
You do contradict yourself, though.

Add Manos, the Hands of Fate to that list.

I thought the Ultimate Version fixed a lot of the editing issues in the first version. The story was less confusing with the better editing..... Of course if you hated MOS and BvS then I doubt the extra 30 mins is going to change your mind.......

I enjoyed the extended cut, while I had not liked it in the theater. They cut out everything that builds up to the confrontation. I am satisfied now. They did make a good movie.

Has there ever been a movie like this before. So many people have problems with BvS, the pacing, the somber, dark attitudes of the main characters, the editing, yet they still liked it. It's weird I guess the appeal of these three characters supersedes all the movies faults.

Does the UC explain what Luthor saw in the alien ship or his conection to what's coming? That was poorly done in the theatrical version. If you're casual fan or you don't have any knowledge of the comics, you won't know what the hell is going or why Luthor was talking crazy and acting silly at the end of the film....that's how bad it was handled.

He went from wanting Batman and Sups dead and creating DD to....'ding' 'ding' 'ding' at the end...and the general audience is supposed to get that? :lol

As excited as I am for the Extended no way in hell will I pay $20.00 just to watch it 3 weeks earlier than the bluray which also comes with a digital copy.

I am not a person with much patience so yeah this sucks. :lol

Everything about that scene was horrible it felt so rushed . Like how the hell does he know? It's not explained. Even I was like " what he talking about?
