Don't like the movie much either. But, will be watching the extended cut just to see if its more coherent than what I saw in the theatre.
Oh make no mistake.
I do love Snyder, the savior of capekino, the destroyer of flavor of the week.
True, Alfred was one of my favorite parts.
Oh you meant SS? No I don't like it, I liked Boomerang, Waller, maybe Cara Delavigne's belly dancing and voice, but that's about it.
I thought it was bad as a whole.
I don't know how to feel about Ayer, movie looks like studio meddling but he says it isn't, so
Haven't watched the ultimate cut or whatever it's called.

Personally, I abhorred Suicide Squad, and a large part of that was because I was an Ayer fan, prior to it. When it was announced that the guy who wrote Training Day and directed Fury and End of Watch was making "the dirty dozen with supervillains," I was ecstatic, and I had it built up in my mind that "there was finally a DC movie that would actually fit with their whole 'dark and gritty' schtick. Then, the casting started coming in. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Tom Hardy as Rick Flagg, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and you know what? Jared Leto as The Joker.
Coming off of Dallas Buyer's Club, the idea of an Oscar winning character actor playing The Joker excited me tremendously...and, little by little, it slipped by the wayside. Tom Hardy is out, Joel Kinnaman is in (I'm not trying to denigrate Kinnaman in any way, just that I thought Hardy was going to be good in the role), the first picture of the Joker, the first trailer, the second trailer, the soundtrack, the reviews, and, last, but certainly not least, the movie, itself. What was once my most anticipated movie turned into the one I couldn't give a **** about.
I forgot about Alfred which is weird because he stood out as the voice of reason for Bruce. Jeremy Irons played him well and would love to see
more of him in the solo Batman movie.
I go back and forward about it, I'm pretty ambivalent about the whole Snyderverse but I mostly love it.
Minus SS.

yeah, sorry, if it's any consolation I think it's as good as any mid-tier MCU movie AND I didn't finish it in one sitting, I do think it was trashed unfairly and it feels at least a like 80% by RT standards.Hey we agree on something!
oh.

isn't it weird how there is like literally no Doctor Strange discussion on the forum anymore while BvS is still being talked about everyday.
really makes you think
Also, definitely more staying power and personality than Dr Strange.by internet standards that's a pretty big compliment for SS. agreed that it was bashed relentlessly while being on the same tier as other CB movies.
