I still don't understand any of the crazy advise given to Superman by his wacky parents lol.

Why did Luthor hate Superman anyways in BvS, jealousy, what? Not like Luthor was impacted by the MOS battle in any manner.

Why did they use "fur hunting" to describe how Bruce's ancestors were hunters as preparation for his war with Superman. Why not just come out and say it, Bruce's ancestors hunted and killed native americans plain and simple. We hunted for fur so now I must hunt Superman lol

You had to been drunk not to connect the MOS skull scene to BvS Day of the Dead scene lol

Jye FFS!

Then this thread must've been drowning in alcohol back then :lol

There are other obvious parallels that I haven't seen here, some already have memes.

I love BvS, but I don't think it's "deep and intellectual". I liked seeing Batman beat a bunch of dudes up and fight Superman. :lol The story was definitely muddled in the theatrical though. Ultimate is the only way to watch it.

Heck, I didn't notice that Day of the Dead thing until just now... :monkey3

Eh, I read in a promotional magazine for BvS before it released that Lex hates Supes because he's a "paradox".

It sort of ties into when he goes off on that rant at the party about the "bittersweet pain among men is having knowledge with no power, because it's paradoxical", and the "if God is all powerful, then he cannot be all good, and if he is all good then he cannot be all powerful"; which is why he wanted Superman to kill Batman, so he'd get blood on his hands and prove he wasn't this "perfect being".

As for the second thing, they probably just thought "they were hunters..." was a cool line. :lol

I'm not letting you get off that easy, what dafuq is his ghost dad babbling about lol

Did his father really say to let kids drown in MOS.

Did his father really go into the record books as the first suicide by tornado.

I always saw it as him being an overprotective father, to the point where he would go through any means necessary just so people wouldn't know Clark had superpowers, since he'd be alienated.

Tornado suicide is lolz tho.

Tornadocide is the stupidest ****ing part of MOS. That could have been the moment in which Clark makes the conscious decision that saving lives and doing the right thing is more important than his father's desire to protect him. Every step Clark could have taken towards being Superman was ruined by his selfish piece of **** father. Give me STM Pa Kent any day.

Can someone explain one part of MOS to me? Now if Superman gets his power from the rays of a yellow sun and he does not get his full power for years then how does Zod get full strength in a matter of hours? By absorbing so much more solar radiation Superman should be stronger, and faster than all of f the other Kruptonians.

BvS answered that. If Hopeman can revive himself from a zombie state to super healthy in a matter or seconds, then... you get the idea.

Actually, not really. All he did was recharge his solar batteries which is easier than the first long charge.
