Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Yeah, the problem with saying someone sees stuff that isn't there is that others shouldn't be seeing it. But they do.

Know lots of people, friends, family, all kinds of ages, people who don't even care for films like this, they all saw and appreciated it.

Sorry buddy, your bias blinds you.

And yet . . . you just said above that other people were calling the performance "one-note" before you went on you're little ***** fest. :lol

Ah and the old, "my friends and family like it, so it must be good" argument. That one never gets old. Hey, guess what, my family, neighbors and even my pets thought it all sucked. Who's right now big boy?

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Thanks, before the nonsensical claims of "ya cantz deefend thE Mos withouz shizzing on my dears Donner mooveez" start.

If that happens, I'll totally condone people pointing their finger at Irvy and saying, "he did it, he did it".

Oh look, wordgames because someone runs out of actual arguments. How original. You know very well how I meant it, just because you felt the need to resort to a simple form of phrasing doesn't actually make you have a point. It's an expression dude "it's funny how people are religious" are all people religious? No. "It's funny how people voted for Obama" did everyone vite for Obama? No.

Don't resort to a convenient game of playing coy on expressions dude, you embarace yourself with it.

Either have a descent discussion, or stop wasting my time. And ftr, I responded to Niltusk and you then responded to me, so you instigated this non-discussion even though it wasn't meant at you and you're clearly just interested in venting your opinion, because you clearly just can't stand someone having a different one.

It's simple dude: if you keep this up I'm not wasting my time replying to you on this subject anymore.:lol

Let me know if you wanna do more than just vent and insult.:wave

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

Not necessarily

His Ghost dad can take away all of his super human powers and he would become just a regular guy so that he can have sex with Louis Lane.

And THEN Batman can beat him to a bloody pulp

Even some old drunk trucker can beat the lights out of him after that :rotfl

Yeah, because NOBODY who likes POS EVER brings up the Donner Movies...

This is it right here. Nobody even mentioned those movies, but Crows comes in and calls the trucker, "an old drunk" even though if you watched the film anyone could see that he was neither old nor drunk.
But I guess that actor wasn't using any, "subtle nuanances" in his performance. I guess he was just acting.

And for the record. Michael Shannon does more with his role on, "Boardwalk Empire" in a single minute than he ever could in 2 1/2 hours of MOS.

Oh, and P.S...It was MOS who had the, "Ghost Dad".

I ain't even mad, dude.

Just thought the Shannon praise was amusing is all (hence the 'kiss ***/talking outta your ***' gif). Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, it's just when I see someone going on and on about "OMG, he's like, so ridiculously good with those subtle facial expressions and nuanced performance", I can't help but laugh because all I see is this,

Again, I got no beef with ya and I don't think you're "wrong". I just thought it was funny. I mean, you started it with the blind comments, not me. :lol

That's exactly how I feel when someone geeks out about Stamp.

If you were here from the beginning you'd know the MoS supporters weren't the ones who started out with the comparisons, but that's not the point, I'm never against that comparison since it's the logical comparison, I was referring to the dumb comments about not being able to defend MoS without ******** on S1/2...

Re: Batman vs. Superman (2016)

@Difabio Okay mate, no beef here either, and no problem with you disagreeing.

Laugh away at my comments, no problem for me, if that's what you like doing. From now on I just won't counter respond to it anymore, as I don't see the point in it.
Live and let live, all for it. Thou can continueth thy mockery. As I will happily continue enjoying shannon's brilliant performance and sharing that experience with those who feel the same.

And now I'm off to bed as it's late here in Europe and I'm tired as ****. Night night!:wave

And how long are you going to play that record?

You're right. I didn't go back and read every post from 3 years ago. But I have read enough to see comments like, "Well, at least he didn't spin the world around", or "Maybe he wasn't saving kittens from trees", (even though that would been better than NOT saving millions). But hey, whatever....

The Reeve/Donner movies are over. Let MOS stand on it's own two feet. If you have to knock what came before, maybe it's not as great as you seem to think.

:slap:slap:slap dear lord.

That's the point! I don't need to "knock down" what it came before so MoS can stand on it's own for me, at all.

Me playing that record? You really have no idea what this thread has seen, if you think I'm beating a dead horse, you should have seen what came before :lol

^Must be hard as a filmgoer, to be that blind.

Yeah, the problem with saying someone sees stuff that isn't there is that others shouldn't be seeing it. But they do.

Sorry buddy, your bias blinds you.

Or those things are there.

The opening scene, the dream scene, when he comes out of the wrecked kryptonian ship.... There's plenty scenes to choose from in which Shannon shows brilliance of performance.

Terence Stamp is a much more memorable Zod. Now kneel.

Sigh not again.... Let it be noted that it wasn't the MoS fans who brought up anything Donner related.
