Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I have seen that suggested, it just seems like such a bit part for someone of her talents. She's an Oscar nominated actress, I would think it would be a waste to cast her as Mercy. Heck Mercy's biggest moment was when she got in a fist fight with Harley.

Now there's an idea. What is they made her Harley? There are already rumors flying around that Mr. J may be in this film.

Actually, she's obviously a busy actress with a lot on her plate, if she wasn't taking a starring role, a small role would make the most sense.

Dunno how it's possible that this character wasn't mentioned yet, but Emily Blunt could be the new CATWOMAN!

Too soon for what, they already rebooted the nr. 1 dc character after he had pretty much the most aclaimed cb film of all time. NOTHING is too soon anymore.:lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Those TV shows ain't gonna be canon. Especially not CW's, but I'm not expecting Fox' to be either. Film appointed studio execs have a massive disregard for the TV medium, like hell they're gonna let 'those people' make the casting or story decisions.

And we know from the writer that Gotham is very much his vision that he wanted to do for a while. Also CONFIRMED that Joker will at one point be in Gotham.
No way in laughing hell are WB/DC gonna let Fox cast a Joker that they're supposed to take into account.

Na, WB/DC is gonna kick back, relax and let other studios stumble around with the characters, so they can view from a safe distance how audiences respond to it, while promoting the DC brand in general, which is free publicity for DC.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Unless the shows really blow and turn people off to DC stuff :lol Wouldn't surprise me if that was the case with that horrible looking Gotham show.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Arrow season 2 was so awful. They utterly ruined Deathstroke after casting a cool actor and with a cool setup from s1. The trailer for Gotham really turned me off as well.

And well, I'll just not state my opinion on CW's Flash at all...

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I really enjoyed most of the episodes for season 2 of Arrow. One of my biggest gripe with season 2 is the fact that almost or if not all the people that come across Ollie seem to have a high potential to be some sort of vigilante/assassin. I personally felt that THE arrow himself got lost in the midst of so many characters this season. I thought it was kind of cool just having the Arrow be THE only vigilante but now we have Sara, Roy, Huntress, soon to be Laurel(God i hope not), and in S3 Thea. I guess i have never been a fan of the whole "family" of vigilantes protecting a city especially in the Batman universe. I feel it takes away the mystique of the central character.

SHIELD was stupidly stinky for most of the 1st season and had only a handful of "good" episodes, didn't turn people off Marvel stuff.

Yeah, it definitely paid off in the end, but I salute the diehards who stayed with it all through. Jye loved every episode, he kept the faith beginning to end.

I agree to a point about Arrow it had some great episodes but it just dragged on and on.
