Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

No, he just gets carjacked and kills and burns people to death when he's annoyed :lol

Serrously. That one clown dude that he torched with the afterburner wasn't hurting or killing anyone, he was just blowing little flames at a storefront. Damn man. Set some toys on fire and Batman will burn you ALIVE. :lol

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I think it's fair to say he had enough of clowns at that stage in his career.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Funny story, there was actually a ton of shots of the Gang burning Gotham citizens alive (stilt walkers and fire breather), but the MPAA made Burton cut em' out.

Little did soccer moms, dads, Mcdonalds and the MPAA know that almost 20 years later we'd have tornados, suicide and neck breaking.

In fact none of the circus gang appeared to be doing anything more than acting the bollix as we say in Ireland. :lol
BUUUUURRRRRRNNNNN THEM!!!!

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Now I wanted to seen an extended R-rated Returns, especially if the footage is all there.

But think of the children!

I had stills of burning Gothamites somewhere. Let me see if I can find them. You can see a couple of obscured ones when the gang threatens Shreck's son and when the Batmobile bursts into the scene. Then there was a completely different opening to the one in the film (possibly due to the violence when it was originally a knock off Batman merchandise store that the fire breather thug was burning down),

Great read, thanks for sharing that.

Bale Bats > all other live action Batmen

No contest. Keaton might have had a chance to rival him if he wasn't a damn statue in that suit, and, y'know, if he wasn't a homicidal lunatic. However, Keaton Wayne is the best Wayne.

Kara is small in the pants.

Loves killer Terminator that kills innocent cops, thinks Terminator that maims but doesn't kill is a puss. Loves a puss Batman that kills his mentor and Two-Face because he has a flexible suit, thinks a Batman that kills to protect innocent people is no good because he kills and is in a restrictive suit.

I like both, but they both have different strengths and weakness. Neither one was perfect. As far as Keaton's lack of mobility goes, it worked pretty well in the first film because it made him looked like he was such an experienced fighter, that he didn't need to move to much in a fight. However, in Returns, the fighting was pretty horrible in several scenes because of his lack of mobility. I like both versions Bruce Wayne.

I hate that duck he does when he's fighting them in the street. The head bash and gut punch is good, but man when he ducks to avoid those blades or whatever it looks friggin' ridiculous.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Two things: 1) The Terminator is supposed to kill. That's the whole point. That's why he's called the Terminator. 2) Batman is not supposed to kill. That's kind of his thing. So when a movie version of a Terminator doesn't kill, and a movie version of Batman does, then they suck.
