Did you like man of steel how do you think it compare to that.

Dude, sometimes I feel like I'm only person in the world who dug the hell out of MOS. I love it a lot. But I feel right now that BvS is vastly superior. Just my two cents.

Honestly, though, can anyone tell me what Lex Luthor's motivation in this movie was, because I'm at a bit of a loss, other than "because Lex hates Superman in the comics."

No clue. In the final scene he talks about threats hidden in the stars. My guess? Deesad's influencing/manipulating both him and Bruce (hence the visions) in order to pitt the world's meta humans against each other. It's the only possible reason why this Lex is so damn psychotic, and why Batman is all of a sudden seeing nightmares with Parademons in them.

You are not the only one brother I love that movie to death. And when I read the critics of that movie I would go back and watch it just to prove to myself that I am not biased and watching things through rose colored glassed bit I can't see it. It's was amazing . I hoping BvS is along the same line give me hope man these critics and bumming me out.

In spoiler tags.......can someone let me know 1) super friend cameos 2) in suit or civilian garb

Thanks

Flash appears in a vision/timeportal/dream sequence to Bruce Wayne. He is wearing some confusing costume that is partially obscured.

Aquaman stares at a video camera underwater for about 5 seconds then hits it with his trident.

Cyborg's creation is shown on a video camera as his cyborg body begins to take shape and then cuts away.

No reference to Green Lantern as far as I remember

EDIT:

FLash is also seen on a video monitor, not in costume, preventing a robbery.

I'm the only oddity in the world who likes MOS, I even love the Star Wars prequels and I agree with above poster above saying how he had mixed feelings and had his jaw on the floor. I too cried like a little B in some scenes... I have mixed feelings about this movie. I love how they tied MOS with this movie.

My only complaint is how rushed the other JL members were just videos but that's it.

Basically he thinks you are God/powerful and unforgiving or merciful and powerless. And he also seems upset that his dad would hit as a child.

I was not a fan. It was a terrible movie IMO, almost walked out after an hour and wish I had. It is all over the place and just boring with no suspense or drama. I can't believe they approved making that movie.

At least DC has the two best superhero shows ever made with Flash and Arrow! Those rock.

Uninspiring......thanks for the info

My biggest surprise is what little Aquaman was involved. The character poster and merch would imply a much bigger role. I wonder what was cut.....

And plant me firmly in the LOVED it camp. I don't have much to add than what's already been said. Catching it again tomorrow with the wife and my son. (And looking forward to it!)/

Amy Adams almost full breast shot, as in 90% showing, in a superhero comic book movie! :yess:

Hell, i'll even say 95% shown!
This was like what the hell for me[emoji38]
Now for my quick review

Just got back and my thoughts? Well... I have no clue. Honestly the movie had potential and there are things I like and disliked. Ben Affleck was great as Bruce Wayne and Batman and Henry Cavill was great as Clark Kent and Superman. Jesse einsberg was on and off for me as Lex Luthor. Some scenes were annoying, others he was great. Wonder Women was cool and doomsday was crap honestly since he was just thrown in there. My issues is the movie was all over the place and very slow in the beginning. The ending pissed me off a bit and made no sense. The fight between both was awesome. Batman had an upper hand and was pretty bad ass honestly and I was thinking Superman would just kick ass within a second but nope. It honestly started to pick up between the middle to the end of the film. I hope the blu ray has a directors cut and we get more scenes added because it seemed like a lot was taken out. Oh Lex Luthors plan? He had none! Just stupid. He just didn't want a god on earth and Batman was a bit easy to get pissed off and fight Superman. If I could rate it I don't know how. It's an odd one and I was able to sit through Man of Steel and know what to think. Weirdest movie to date and definitely one. I will have to rewatch in order to get a full opinion but I did find things completely wrong and jumbled. Some scenes made no sense and others did. Just ugh what to think. Just go see it. I wasn't hyped about this film at all but I was still interested in seeing it and I just cannot think straight because I will just need to rewatch. Definitely an off film.

I thought the way they introduced the JL would've been much better had it included a little restraint and a little viral marketing.

Seeing one after the other like that was a little much for one movie. Since Flash already appeared, I think they could've benefited from Wonder Woman just glancing at his video. Then have a webpage set up where people could see the decrypted "Cyborg" and "Aquaman" videos.

I already left my 2 cents here, however I would love to hear from more folks who have read comics since they were 9-years-old like me. Many people here seemed to have missed quite a bit, and are trashing it as a result. Granted, it probably should have appealed to a more "general audience", but i guess I don't care because this was a movie made for me. Lol. It had many notes of a art house superhero film just like Watchmen. I f--king loved this movie. Just my opinion. Can't wait for the R rated cut and more of Miller's violent Batman kicking ass. Been reading comics since at least 1984. :wave

I don't think I missed anything.

I love watchmen and I don't mind Snyder films at all. This one just seemed off to me for some reason and I don't know if I like it or hate it. I can find the ups and downs but I just cannot pick out my feelings on it as a whole for myself. I'm stumped.
