Bespin Luke 12" figure

am I the only one whos really really really digg'n this sculpt?!?! from what I can see this one looks the best of the 3... a definte must get.

Not a bad sculpt, though the cheeks a bit too puffy compared to that pic, and It looks like I was right before about the lips being too red. Also, it looks like his eyes are messed up, but that may just be the crappy resolution(Not offence, RoboDad).

None taken. There really isn't much to work with in a thumbnail that small, so some distortion is inevitable. I believe the problem you are seeing with the eyes is more the result of a side effect of the software I had to use to enlarge it, rather than a problem with the sculpt itself. But we will certainly know more soon.

My only purpose in enlarging it that much was to try to show the overall shape of the face which, to me, looks pretty close to the promo pic.

Watching ESB right now and even though the picture is a thumbnail, the sculpt is looking very good. Really it's mostly the paint that ruins these headsculpts and the expression in some cases. Sure, some have things wrong, like Anakin's big chin, but they have for the most part had very good liknesses to the actors/actresses/characters.

This figure should be fantastic, next to Jedi, this is probably the appearance I'd want most. Ya farmboy is "iconic" but the outfit is too basic for me, I find the Bespin outfit more interesting and appealing, and not being someone who grew up in the 70's, I'm more a fan of the sort of basic hair style he had in ESB and ROTJ, can't wait for this figure, and can't wait to see what his accessories are.

Do it, its a fantastic figure. I cant wait to get Old Ben so I can have Yoda, Ben and Luke Jedi all posed together.

I like the sculpt. I'm hoping this is the figure to break the Skywalker curse! or funky headpaints. If Bespin Luke is just the beginning I can't wait to see what else SDCC brings!!!

I think the stump would be standard. The backpack would be a cool exclusive I guess.

Or a 3rd forearm, the robot one with the open panel to show the robo-insides like at the end of ESB?

Cool as that might be, unless they change things from the Anakin arm, I'd much prefer they not mess with full limbs, it works ok for Anakin, but I like when you don't have to use caution posing a figure and can just move the limbs how you need or like to and for the short ammount of time you see it on screen and the limited coolness of the electronics, doesn't seem worthwhile to me, at least Anakin's arm was very intricate and an overal impressive accomplishment, a few pipes and wires isn't worth it to me with Luke.

This figure also opens up one of my other favorite costumes, Hoth gear! Not that I want it right away. But they hasbro clothes are pretty decent, a little hemming needed and then add the body, boots and belt (etc.) from Bespin one. Dammit! I knew when they started doing more Empire figures things were gonna get really expensive. Anyway, here's hoping for a Bespin Environment piece soon!!!
