Just saw Avatar last night in 3D. Amazing!!! It was a tough call but I would have to put Avatar ahead of Star Trek for the best of 2009. Loved Star Trek but Avatar left me speechless.
The worse movie was an easy pick. Year One by far is the worst movie of the year.

I know right. Just seeing Stiglitz growing more and more pissed as the scene went on was awesome enough. This was one of my favorite scenes from the movie....my favorite is the first scene with Landa at the farmhouse. I pissed myself laughing when he whipped out his enormous pipe. And who can forget this one with Aldo?:

In my opinion...The best movie of 2009 is AVATAR!!!!!!!!..i liked Watchmen..Star trek Terminator and transformers but avatar blew me away to another planet!!!!..everyone needs to see this movie

You have to be a true fan of all cinema, even the subtle fads and genres, to appreciate Tarantino and his style. I for one, am I huge fan and love what he does. His dialogue exchanges are amazing.

Yeah the whole opening scene in the house was bad assery and classic Tarantino. I loved it!
So far for me the movie of the year has to be Star Trek followed by Avatar. However, I need to see District 9 yet. The Harry Potter movie was really good too.

After seeing Avatar my list has still not changed... It was clearly awesome, but still not the best thing I saw this year.
But Paranormal Activity still sucks!
Still need to see District 9 though, I missed it in the theaters, but will see it hopefully this week.
