This. I also seem to recall it was Palpatine who told him to head there, so I think it was all part of his plan to make Anakin believe there was no turning back now that he'd chosen the dark side. Going after hard targets (i.e., other Jedi or Jedi masters) could have led to either (a) Anakin dying or (b) being shown he still had a choice, neither of which Palpatine would have wanted to risk happen.

Anakin did take out some heavy hitters when entering the temple with the 501st. They just didn't really show it other than the brief holo scene.

Obi-Wan watched him on the hologram thingy. The one they showed him fighting was Cin Drallig (whos was played by the stunt coordinator Nick Gillard) who was one of the best Sword Masters Of The Jedi and did most of the lightsaber training. He fought and defeated him along with 2 other Jedi at the same time.

She's 10 years old, she's not a toddler. She's also being raised for leadership in an aristocratic family, so her having an expanded vocabulary and being able to converse with adults isn't that far-fetched. The outrunning adults part was unrealistic, but her being whip-smart and sassy is consistent with the OT version of Leia.

I think a lot of Freaks are used to RL kids here in 'Murica.

…But Leia IS better than Luke. And Han. And most of the cast.

She basically was introduced as a sassy, condescending, hot-heated, but highly capable leader who spent most of the original films talking down to our “heroes”, insulting the villains to their faces, and snarking left and right.

So, yeah. Consistent.
