Overall, as with the last one, I liked this episode much more than the first two.

It has some silly plot devices, but that's par for the course and always has been with Star Wars, but visually there was a lot to like with the setting, the various types of Imperials and the darker aspects that the creators didn't shy away from.

I'm happy with the silly stuff as long as the dark stuff is dark.

The "tomb" was wonderfully morbid.

Instantly reminded me of the final season of Dexter.

I thought it was great to show the "tomb"
to give a little more backstory on how the Inquisitor's use them to lure other Jedi. Similar to how the Grand Inquisitor used Luminara's body in Rebels. I was hoping to see her in one of them but seeing Tera Sinube hit hard too. I have to rewatch to see if any of the other Jedi are recognizable as well.

i honestly put aside the errors from previous episodes but i honestly can't for episode 4. reva is still annoying. more annoying in this episode since she had more screentime. idk what it is, she just tries too hard. whatever direction disney decided was okay for reva is awful.

last i checked, a snowspeeder had 2 spots for people to sit in. maybe im nitpicking but i dont think a snowspeeder should be hovering in the air when wade or whatever that rebel's name was, when he fired at reva.

and kenobi? how can we go from episodes where a woman's hand gets wacked off, a storm trooper getting cut in half, and vader snapping a kid's neck to kenobi using his lightsaber like its a baseball bat? just for mere sparks to come off a trooper's armor. shouldn't a lightsaber go through someone like butter? finale luke in mando cut up dark troopers like cheese. its honestly so inconsistent with what disney is trying to do. i dont mind not having dismemberment, but don't make a damn lightsaber a baseball bat.

Great to see someone else noticed Tera Sinube as well!!!

For the record, despite what I said earlier about seeing what my childhood imagined when I was playing with my toys, I honestly think this was the worst episode of the series yet.

NOTHING happened to advance the plot. Nothing. It was the very definition of filler.

Dunno if it was the worst but by now I would have either expected ratcheting tension as a show builds to a huge finale or some sort of entertaining side jog episode. IMO the show was neither, stuffed with rehash and things that make no sense. Reva and the other Inquisitors continue to be tepid and outclassed by animated characters. Indira Varma and McGregor are working hard - too bad they deserved better material.

Were we supposed to care about that random Rebel guy btw? They really dwell on his death but he had maybe 30 seconds of screentime across 2 scenes.

Feels weird, like they cut a bunch of stuff out; especially since it was only 30 mins.

I didn't care. Felt like I was watching an episode of Rebels which is better done.
