Yes we can dream. But in the meantime I'm just enjoying the fact that I'm living in a world that has new SW movies and shows to watch that feature the likes of Ewan Kenobi, JEJ Vader, young post-ROTJ Luke and a ton of fun moments like Mando and Cobb fighting a Krayt Dragon, Fett riding a rancor against an army of pykes, and a younger Kenobi swinging his saber and fighting off OT Stormies and cool new droids to protect an absolutely spot on kid Leia.
Then there's all these unexpected little treats like Tala, Edgerton killing it as a younger Owen, Ahsoka translating well to live-action, and that's just the Disney+ stuff. In a perfect world every new episode would be ESB quality with modern visuals but as far as I'm concerned life is too short to
not be enjoying what we have now. Even the "lame" stuff is almost always entertaining due to the lolz and commentary here.
And has often been repeated we've been taking the bad with the good all the way since 1983 and you can throw in the HS and Ewok movies as well and if I've learned anything from the past four decades it's that yes great SW is something truly special but bad SW can also be a hell of a lot of fun.
After 1983 I never thought I'd
ever see any new SW, and certainly not on the level of say RO or the best moments we've gotten from Mando to now so everything from then on has been gravy and certainly more than worth my measly 8 bucks a month for Disney+.
