I just joined your social group. I'd love to have a continuous community to be able to discuss HR, Beyond, and the future of Quantic Dream.

As far as "Welcome to the CIA", I didn'really have a problem with it.
I personalli really liked the gun course and I thought the graphics on the obstacle course was insane!

I don't know, but then again I really liked the fighing too, so whatever.

IGN are Beyond biased. Lol, see what I did there? I've come to think that they sometimes just like to troll people.

Yeah I added you to it :)

And without a doubt IGN had their collective heads in their ***** with that review. I honestly think some reviews go a few different ways. They were either paid off, it's honest, or they score it really low just to stand out.

I'm going to go play "Black Sun" and see what the alternate endings are from what me and you chose.

Yeah, I'm going to check out the different endings too. There are also a few scenes throughout tthe game I'm going to retry to see what would have happened if I'd have handled them differently.

For sure today I'm going to play the advanced training dlc, and watch some of the behin the scenes making of videos.

Or on second thought, maybe I should wait on the videos as they could end up spoiling the alternate scenes...

I haven't read the IGN review yet but I know their score. I'm tempted to read it now that I beat the game. It may be worth a good chuckle.

Or it might make me mad because if IGN contributes to low sales of this game, then QD might not put out future dlcs if they were previously thinking about it.

Thinking about picking up the game right now. Loved Heavy Rain.

Just 2 questions, do the choices you make have consequences in the overall story?

And are most of you enjoying this more than Heavy Rain?

I believe the the ending you get is decided literally at the end of the game. Also I think the choices you make throughout the game only alter some of the scenes you see and how they play out.

So ultimately I don't think you can make a choice in the 3rd chapter, for instance, that will affect chapter 26. But it's still cool enough as it is.

This game is just as good as Heavy Rain if not better in many areas.

1) hard to say as I'm not sure what other outcomes are, but I suspect huge. One part, my Jody said, 'I could have saved them' which made me feel bad

2) way more - heavy rain frustrated me a lot - this one does not

Really hard to say, Heavy Rain was a blast to play. HR had more instances of of decision making that would affect the ending from the very beginning. But with B2S it seems that the final chapter is the deciding factor on your ending, and from what I gather there is 5 possible endings. I've seen 2 so far.

But by far, this is a much more emotional game than HR ever was and the acting is incredibly better too.

Not spoiling anything but I saw my 2nd ending which was the "Beyond" ending. A more sadder ending.

Okay thanks for the info guys. Going

I found in the beginning that the pacing was off and it was moving a little too fast since the chapters were short, it gets much much better the further you're into it.

Were all in agreement that Homeless was one of the best chapters in the game, I almost got choked up with the one scene in it.

Homeless was great! Although there were so many scenes in this game that were really awesome.

Hey Snake, this will be out of context so people won't get it unless they've played it:

Asian beef.

Did anyone ever watch the "Kara" Dev trailer by Quantic Dream? It's in the extras for B2S and it was the first time I watched it. Cage really knows how to pull emotion out of the viewer.

IIRC the name correctly I picked the Chicken Curry and I had Aiden burn it :lol

You need to watch the Beyond ending, nothing flashy but it's a bit of a depressing ending. You should know why.

I loved the Navajo secton, as I spent a lot of time in Az, but there was a weird glitch at the end of it, at least based on my choices.

What I don't get from critics is this: they liked Heavy Rain, yet bash this one? Its not that far off from each other in terms of gameplay mechanic.....? Metacritic is a terrible way to judge an overall score. This game has been out two days, yet has more critic votes than GTAV
