I think this type of game always will be. I know people crying foul of the IGN review, but I'm not surprised that a game like this isn't universally loved. It's not going to be for everyone.

I kind of feel like it's not a game, I haven't had any point where you can fail, any time you miss something it either lets you retry immediately or it just continues. Has anyone actually messed up and died or anything?

OH god that was funny. "So polarizing, this game is either the second coming of christ,... or butt cancer" Lol

This is literally one of my favorite games ever. And I hope these polarizing reviews don't discourage Cage. Cause I want MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you watch the making of videos that come with the game? Page really comes across like a snob in the interviews while Dafoe seems genuine and humble.

I watched the videos but I don't remember her acting snobby. Well, maybe a little...I don't know, I'll have to rewatch them and see.

Every since the Mission level, game has frozen 3 times now...anyone else experiencing?

Not a full on freeze but I've had the game lock for a second or two. But then it would work again. Nothing game breaking.

played a few hours yesterday. Im enjoying it so far although i really cannot stand the letterbox ratio, i can't remember if heavy rain had it but it really annoys me, custscenes fine use it but game play what the hell.

One thing i really enjoyed towards to start
was taking revenge on those ******* teenagers

I did not get that vibe at all. Dafoe comes across as warm for sure, but Page just seems like she is a little introspective......I thought they both gave excellent interviews, myself

Finished the game, and what a wild ride. I would have liked a little more in some of the relationships with Jody, and the constant jumps in time threw me at times, but all-in-all, glad I got the game. Fav levels: Navajo, Homeless and the ending were all pretty awesome stuff. Not sure I liked some of the CIA stuff, but will say, the submarine mission was the first time I felt like I was truly playing a game and not just interactive experience.

Ending definitely screams: DLC inbound

I’m in the minority, but I found this game to be quite underwhelming. I’m all for the interactive experience, but some levels I just didn’t even get why they would let us play if they were going to give us pretty much zero control.

Also I’m not fond of the story and the performances. The actors are much better then they were in Heavy Rain, but the acting and the performances are really supposed to carry this game unlike Heavy Rain.

Also a lot of cliches. The game isn’t bad but it just wasn’t for me.

If anyone is looking to buy send me a pm.

Same Here

:goodpost::exactly:

The only parts I found kind of boring where Africa and the first time the Portal thing opens.

The birthday, cia training, homeless part, navajo, the end all that was pretty much perfect

About the ending....

...or endings, I really liked Zoey ending, thats the best imho, and Ryans ending too (I really dislike that guy but the ending was nice)

Yeah she doesn't come off as a snob. Not to me at least.

My initial ending was the Ryan ending. To me, it made the most sence since they rekindled their relationship during the last two chapters. Jay was a cool guy but their time together was so short.

After the pain of losing Aiden I didn't want her to be alone. My second choice would have been the zoey ending if I couldn't choose Ryan.

I replayed the last level and choose the alternate life decision - being vague here, but both end with a very distinct future on the horizon. Hope we do get some DLC

Advanced Experiments is fun, I hope we get a DLC pack of more of it. It's Portal with a ghost :lol

That was my first thought when I booted it up. "How did I get in portal?" Lol!

I liked it but it was very short. Would have liked a longer experience doing the same types of puzzles.

BTW, you guys really think they'll make some dlc? Or is that it for the game?
