$750, kiss my black ass

The price isn't really out of line for a high-end prop replica. Just look at what Master Replicas charges. It's just that this is not an iconic weapon that we all know and love -- people ordering it now are doing so completely out of their affection for Hellboy as a character and their hope that it will be cool in the movie. (Not criticizing, mind you.)

400 ES? I'm going to cancel if that's the case. Sideshow better keep it down or they'll have bunch of them sitting in their warehouse until they start putting it up with a discount price on them.

I don't think this one's in danger of selling out anytime soon.

A Low edition and it being made out of metal would make me more likely to keep it. The lack of materials list makes me think they're trying to make it out of metal but not sure yet if they can get it to work. Maybe that's just wishful thinking.

I love those baby bottle shells. :D

Probably best to wait for it to appear in an Express Update e-mail.

Yeah. for $750 it really should be metal.

they're listing the weight as 30 lbs. in the specs

As cool as thing looks - I'm just not shelling out that much $$ for anything anymore. And I have a feeling you may be right about the polystone - metal would be damn heavy for a piece like that.

I don't think the question is whether it will be metal. If it were metal it would probably weigh close to 100 pounds. But the truth is on the site - they don't know yet.

It's incredibly huge, you think the Samaritan is large, but this thing is BIG.

Man, really surprised how much this is going for... guess the earlier price cap on HBII merchandise was a little off.

Oh well, I'm really more interested in the Samaritan anyway, and I can afford (kinda) that one.
