i just got my samaritan ex. off of ebay last week, so i figured i'd get on the WL for the Big Baby, well in less than a week it converted already.
i guessing this sold out piece, isn't so sold out anymore. certainly not at that price.
this thing is going to pose some display problems for alot of people, especially at 28" long and 30lbs.

If it's all metal, then hell yeah! If Polystone or some other plastics... then no.

Ummm, 750 will. ES is too high for a prop that was rarely utilized in the film, and if it's made of plastics...then well, it becomes a very ugly inflated sticker price.

Isn't the edition size 500? In either case, it isn't really a very high edition size for a prop replica like this. Compare it to 3100 total for all versions of the Samaritan. I do expect it to go on second chance though. It's just too expensive given what it is, especially in this economy.

no money as of yet, i'm not 100% certain i'm keeping this big sucker.
shy at 28" plus a few inches on either side for comfortable display area, a guy's going to need 3-3 1/2' of shelf space. man a guy could put 3 pfs in that amount of space.

i'm thinking that i may just get the first and second pf's to flank the ex. samaritan, and MAYBE get the bigbaby later on down the road after it hits rock btm in value when everyone figures out that they can't display it.

I'm sure they just don't want to tell, because mountains of people canceled the Samaritan when we found out it wasn't going to have a real wood handle. I think they're afraid people will cancel in droves again, if it's announced this is made out of cheap materials for the price point it's selling at.
