A very kind SSC employee (His name escapes me) let me hold this big bastard and holy Jesus it is HEAVY!!! Feels like it's made of metal, it opens up to insert the shells and he wound up the music box so we can here the tune. AWESOME.

Feeling it, can you tell if its metal and if the handle is wood?

I'd think that you could pretty easily tell the difference between wood and polystone. Did you ask the employee?

Would really like to know since it will determine whether I keep this piece or not . . .

This sucker is extremely heavy and it feels like it's made of metal, regardless of the materials I feel it's worth it. The size and weight of it, the exquisite leather strap, the music box feature and bad ass base are more than enough for me.

Yeah that BB was HUGE to say the least...but Im glad after seeing it uo close that I ordered the Hellboy PF...

They told me it was not metal but once you see it in person it won't matter, I did not get a chance to hold it but like The ill Jedi said this thing is bad ass I was considering canceling it until I saw it. I think I have every hellboy product they have on preorder and after seeing all of them I will be keepin all of them.

I must say this prop replicas is huge. But i prefer the Samaritan especially the EX version.
