i thought they had confirmed it came in?

The last official update was "We are happy to report that we have begun processing payment invoices for the Amy Pond figure and we will begin shipping early next week." - 1st June

So you would think that meant we have them in hand and are ready to ship them out - but with Big Chief who knows... how did they manage to get what i imagine is a highly sought after licence anyway? they were a new company at the time weren't they? BBC putting a lot of faith into a brand new company... i meant good on BBC for doing that and not choosing a massive 'corporate' company but at the rate we are going are BBC going to be happy with the outcome - i can't imagine they have seen much return on just the one figure..

I actually think 'Who Knows?' would make a better name for the company than Big Chief (Who Knows? - geddit?).

As for the rest of your post... sigh. All I can say is that I'm still happy with the BBC's choice going by 11, and I'm not sure that anyone else wanted the 12" licence anyway. But maybe I'm suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and I'm so desperate for 12" Who figures I've managed to brainwash myself into approving anything BC do...?

Looks like Amy must have finally arrived as several people on facebook have stated they received confirmation their orders were shipped out today.

The alternate portrait is definitely better than the main one. That main portrait is very poor in my opinion.

The sculpted hair portrait is MUCH better than the Barbie hair one.

We wait for pics and then upload them at 1am - WTF?

I'm still not too impressed really - in those pics, the rooted hair sculpt looks horrible, nothing like Karen Gillan at all, more like one of those porcalane dolls..

The sculpted hair is maybe better but not much, the 11th might not have been perfect but at least when you look at him you see Matt Smith, you know who it is..

This figure doesn't have that if you ask me, the clothes aren't particularly iconic (not a fault of BC though its not like she was known for an outfit etc) and the sculpts just don't look anything like the character or the actress...

Rant over, seriously considering cancelling and I would never really do that but I think is this £160 worth? I'd argue maybe not.

I'd rather have a neutral expression than a big cheesy smile on her face.

Definitely prefer the sculpted hair, 100% better, still not perfect, but at least acceptable. Think I'll keep mine and place the order now. I'd really hate to break up a sig set, I've been lucky enough to go 3 for 3 so far. If I can get a baker sig on 4, I'd be a happy collector.

The sculpted hair is SO much better. It's weird, I know the face is supposed to to be the same... but the likeness looks better there to me, too.

The sculpted hair looks great and just like 11, I believe she will look good in hand. I'm pretty happy.

I totally agree, night and day difference. I would rather have a 1/6 scale Amy that was a tad off than no Amy at all.

Oh, wow. The one with sculpted hair looks quite good. I think it looks very nice. I'd probably get this if I had the money. :/
