I don't know where all of this bantering is coming from about what to post or what not to pst but here is the close up of the sculpt posted on the FB group by Gregg (apologies, please, thank you to anyone in the group)

This is coming along better than anything I could have imagined.

I just can't bring myself to buy Eccleston on general principal. Oh well, guess I won't have all of the Doctors.

I can't help but remember that Eccleston walkie talkie thing which, for years, was the only viable 1:6 likeness. Preorder Day can't come soon enough.

One of the best things about the recent Series 7 Eleven release has been watching people use the Capaldi head to kitbash their own Doctors. Love all the ingenuity and creativity I've seen, and I'm glad a Tennant head is coming with this so people can do the same (if they're not planning to put it on the pyjamas that are coming with the 10th Doctor Tardis).

I hope this continues afterwards - if BCS are doing a Rose say (which I personally believe will happen) then I would love Rose to come with a Mickey Smith head. They'd never get anyone to pay £180 for a Mickey Smith figure but stick a head in there and people will kit bash their own Mickey. I know heads are the most expensive part of a figure (along with clothes) but I'd rather have one spare head and one sonic screwdriver to any amount of accessories that will mostly stay in the box anyway.

Also, is anyone planning to make this variant? :)

At one time I would have loved to bash that variant. But since we now know that 8 never dressed like that and even if he had, 9 regenerated from the War Doctor, I lost interest in that variant.

*I did make one years ago from the 5 inch figures though.

It was never meant to be his regeneration outfit was it? I thought it was his Titanic visit outfit (the 1912 earth one!).

Who knows. I always took it that way and I know quite a few others did. All we know for sure is that he was wearing those clothes when he saved that family on the Titanic. But changing clothes to fit a time period wasn't really 9's M.O. so the logical conclusion was that is what he was wearing when he was newly regenerated. :dunno

Who knows indeed. I've always loved a top hat though. If BCS do a Victorian Sherlock - and I believe they will - I hope he comes with a top hat, maybe along the lines of the fez on series 7 Eleven.

Figured we'd be getting close, with the show back on in a couple of weeks.

They've done a good job on the accessories too, didn't even think of the spider-bot or the anti-plastic...

Actually, that key is awesome when you realise how small it is. Did 9 have exactly the same screwdriver as 10 or was there some subtle difference? The screwdrivers look great there too.
