I'd rather they take their time and not rush them and get things right. We don't need another Amy Pond incident or ashen faces or sloppy paint apps or bad tailoring.

I totally agree, I'm not nine, I don't need to open mine on Christmas Day particularly; but I do want a figure where they allowed the paint to dry before putting it in the box.

If it takes longer, so be it, just show us a photo of the production line.

Rushing to get it to us by Christmas is not important to many of us, I don't think. I don't want to see a company already in need of a payday spend their profits on rushing to get it to us a couple of weeks earlier than otherwise.

Yeah, after Amy this release needs to be perfect. I looked back at the promo photos and Tennant is 100% Caucasian there. It's a fantastic sculpt, and seemed like a good paint job, let's hope the factory paint job doesn't change his ethnicity.

Are they doing all the docs eventually? And by eventually I mean hopefully before the 75th anniversary rofl

More like the 100th. :lol

But actually... if Ten and 4 ship soon they will have achieved a quarter of the Doctors, 25%... or a third by the time they've made Hartnell (and surely Capaldi will be a priority). I think they've speeded up.

do big chief figures come in the brown shipper with BCS logo when purchased via retailers? or is that only the ones purchased and shipped direct from big chief?

I bought my 11 from a retailer and it came in a brown shipper with the BCS logo.

Bought the new Beatles album today. Made me think - BC would be the PERFECT company to do high end Beatles figures.

I really do not dig those figures. The McF versions do the cartoon a far greater service than Those over priced dolls.

Thanks for the link, but I think Yellow Submarine has been done to death. What I had in mind was a set of four figures of the Beatles, sculpted by Trevor, as they first appeared on the Ed Sullivan show... John, Paul, George, all with their instruments (BC is good with accessories - look at the photos of Sherlock's violin) mikes, stands and amps, all with their matching outfits (very cost effective to buy all that material in one go) and finally Ringo with his drums... tell me that wouldn't be amazing.

It would indeed be amazing.

Not for me personally.

But still amazing.

I shall google...

Holy crap! They are beautiful! I wish I had the money to commission Trevor privately.

The Pepper sculptures are all fairly neutral expressions, which is entirely appropriate to the subject matter - but just think what Trevor could do of the Beatles in concert, smiling, singing and going crazy. Or a moody John Lennon circa Hamburg 1960. Or...
