Actually please disregard my stance on that specific scene she just praised Joss Whedon as a very talented writer in a big media interview it’s official Scarjo hates women lol

I watched the interview.

Grace is having a cow over what Scarjo said :rotfl

Crows please control your girl lol

It was, and to me it only added to the emotional impact of the scene.

I do wish they let the weight of that scene linger a bit more before they had that "funny" part happen.
Nebula and Rhoades went back in time to get the stone from Quiell..when Clint and Natasha left them was it still the past? So in essence ..did Nat die years before when everyone came back with the stones? was Yelena visiting the grave many years after Hawkeye came back with the stone plus another five years on top of that  How did Yelena not know about Clint when so many years have passed.

Yes I believe that was in 2014. But that wasn't in the MCU main timeline past (it is in the same past the Thanos in Endgame came from).

We don't know how much time passed from the end of Endgame to that scene though. What's more interesting to me is why:

Contessa would be targeting Clint. I'm sure she knows well that Clint did not kill Natasha, so she is deliberately misinforming Yelena. What does she have to gain from Clint's death?

I think Contessa .. Is not who everyone thinks she is ..how does she know what happened with the soul stone exactly..I don’t see Clint telling anyone other than the inner gang involved about how he got the stone. I think the Contessa is not a human..maybe a Skrull in disguise ..think about it..when Yelena bent down to put touch the tombstone there was wide shot that she was alone..how did the Contessa just show up without Yelena noticing her ..Yelena has special senses she said .There is more to the Contessa than we know

Just finished watching this, and overall it's a good action flick. Regarding the scene where Dreyko beats BW up, I did find it much more visceral and suturing, because of the context of systematic abuse against women put forward in the story, and the fact that BW couldn't fight back... it felt quite brutal.
What did surprise me was the amount of gratuitous ScarJo butt-shots... I think there were more than gratuitous Gadot butt-shots in Whedon's JL... :lol
Anyway, exactly when does the main action take place? Between Civil War and Infinity War?

Good point, although it does look like in law enforcement/intelligence circles at the very least, they all know what more or less happened during Endgame. At least the FBI and SWORD knew in WandaVision. I'd assume
Contessa and whatever her agency is would know as well.

I think her final hairstyle in her last scene pretty much told us what the next setting was going to be :lol

Just got back from a late showing. Overall I quite enjoyed it. I wasn't familiar with Taskmaster, so
I wasn't at all bothered by the reveal. I actually figured it was coming as I knew beforehand that Olga Kurylenko was in the movie, so when she never showed up is was rather obvious who she was playing lol.

Going back & reading some comments I noticed several people criticizing this for retconning Steve's breaking the other Avengers out of The Raft. For me this didn't retcon anything but rather it finally answered HOW Steve got there (and undetected to boot) in the first place! Did people think he swam there?? It's not like he'd have access to any other Quinjet. :slap

Yeah I agree here. It ties in nicely for that scene in Civil War.

Only big loose string would be
How Natasha got away from Ross. I think she struck a deal with him? I wonder if she gave away the locations and identities of the other Widows from the files she copied in the Red Room?

She could have also gotten away too (in the same way she escaped at the beginning of the movie). I think given how she had to change her hair color, she probably went this route.

I always thought it was the quinjet from the airport fight and the end of Civil War that Cap and Bucky used to get to the Russian base in the middle of nowhere and then I figured they used it to get to Wakanda for the Civil War end credits scene - if they didn't have a quinjet, how did they leave the Russian secret base? The Wakanda timing is ambiguous and could have happened after BW gets her quinjet though.
Alternately, Iron Man took the quinjet after his suit got banged up leaving Cap and Bucky stranded, who then waited for the whole BW movie to happen to get picked up by BW to go to Wakanda.
It is all very ambiguous so I don't think anyone can definitively say they didn't have a quinjet or not.

I thought Cap left the quinjet along with his shield. The quinjet was provided by Tony, in the same way Tony's father provided the Shield. He would have left both after his fight with Tony.

T'Challa was there too. He could have given a ride to Cap and Bucky straight back to Wakanda while Tony could have brought back Zemo to Ross on the Quinjet.

This leaves Natasha going straight to Wakanda from this movie.

Was Red Guardian, Melina and Yelena part of the Thanos snap or maybe just Melina and RG ..that’s why Yelena knows Valentina . Perhaps she was working with Valentina for five years

Also I think it took Natasha maybe months to find Steve Rogers , since it probably took some time for Cap to grow the beard for IW . Since we saw that Steve shaved the beard off in the beginning of EG proves it took him a while to grow it.
