I did not recognize her here.Upon further reflection, it does seem a little odd thatthey cast 41 year old Olga Kurylenko rather than a younger actress as Dreykov's daughter. I guess with the heavy makeup/scarring her age isn't really noticeable, but she's 5 years older than ScarJo so my brain is having difficulty reconciling having Scarjo's Natasha as a 20-ish Black Widow blowing up Antonia as a little girl.
Having gone back and read the Esquire interview that Matticus posted, It's interesting thatI did not recognize her here.
I guess she looked young enough especially after all that prosthetic make-up so it worked out in the end. However, I do agree that it probably would be better if they cast someone who should be the correct age for this.
My thoughts as well.Having gone back and read the Esquire interview that Matticus posted, It's interesting thatMarvel asked for her specifically for the role - i.e., she didn't even have to audition. That makes me think they have plans for her as Taskmaster beyond Black Widow.
I love Florence Pugh. There, I said it.
I didn’t realize how close this was set to Endgame though. Unless I misread it, did the end credit scene really say two weeks later?
