I thought Cap left the quinjet along with his shield. The quinjet was provided by Tony, in the same way Tony's father provided the Shield. He would have left both after his fight with Tony.

T'Challa was there too. He could have given a ride to Cap and Bucky straight back to Wakanda while Tony could have brought back Zemo to Ross on the Quinjet.

This leaves Natasha going straight to Wakanda from this movie.
You're right, I completely forgot about that! T'Challa and his shown with Demo - doh!

I think Contessa .. Is not who everyone thinks she is ..how does she know what happened with the soul stone exactly..I don’t see Clint telling anyone other than the inner gang involved about how he got the stone. I think the Contessa is not a human..maybe a Skrull in disguise ..think about it..when Yelena bent down to put touch the tombstone there was wide shot that she was alone..how did the Contessa just show up without Yelena noticing her ..Yelena has special senses she said .There is more to the Contessa than we know
Well she doesn’t know exactly, because she says that he was responsible for her sisters death, which wasn’t true. Either that or she’s just a liar which is most likely the case.

But they would have had to report Natasha’s death to someone, and she clearly has contacts in high places.

I would assume the U.S. gov't would have debriefed the Avengers on why their complex got blown to bits. Rhodey I'm sure was probably the first with his connections to the gov't.

Shang Chi and Hawkeye are next so two similar skill set individuals (Abomination and Kate) for a Dark Avengers team. Curious if Renner is done after that.

I think Kate is going to the Young Avengers though? They're filling up that roster quickly with each show in D+.

Yeah just not sure if it is like a Thunderbolts or DA, but they have 2 Avengers already and only two arrow shooters lol. YA is definitely on the way as well. Armor Wars could be setting up the IM DA.

I think this scenario makes the most sense, but I suppose even T’Challa could have provided Steve with the support he’d need to get to The Raft. My other thought was that (other than crashing in TFA) we never saw Steve as a pilot, plus a stealth drop off and his sneaking inside seems more likely than The Raft graciously opening its doors for his quinjet. IMO lol

Only thing I really found distracting about Taskmaster was that the helmet looked like a repurposed Ruroc skiing/snowboarding helmet:

I really liked the movie, but keep in mind that I'm not necessarily the most objective MCU critic out there. Strengths were the acting from the leads, the family dynamic, and especially Florence Pugh. I can't wait to see more of her going forward.
The movie definitely felt like an older MCU film for better and for worse. Even though I really liked the opening credits montage, I was thrown off by it. When is the last time a movie like this had opening credits? Sure, both Deadpool films do, but those are played totally for comedy.
I found myself almost laughing at some of the action Widow (and other regular humans) not only survived, but barely were injured during. I can let that go being a superhero action movie, but there were at least five times I said out loud in the theater, "Yeah, that would've killed her."
Whenever I rank the MCU films, I have a pretty static bottom five (which I still love), a rather set top ten, and then all of the middle films, which can switch position daily depending on what I've recently seen or thought about. This falls squarely in that middle group.
It was nice to see a "smaller" MCU movie again, but at the same time, it's tough when you follow the run up to Endgame.

Upon further reflection, it does seem a little odd that
they cast 41 year old Olga Kurylenko rather than a younger actress as Dreykov's daughter. I guess with the heavy makeup/scarring her age isn't really noticeable, but she's 5 years older than ScarJo so my brain is having difficulty reconciling having Scarjo's Natasha as a 20-ish Black Widow blowing up Antonia as a little girl. :lol

I think her final hairstyle in her last scene pretty much told us what the next setting was going to be :lol
:lol
Yeah well, I think I've only watched one or two MCU movies more than once (Iron Man I and probably Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1), so... yeah, not too invested in the chronology and looks of the characters :peace

I used to watch IM1 & IM2 quite frequently when they were still fresh. I still find them enjoyable to watch. TWS I went two times to see it in the theatre. Doctor Strange I find very pleasant as well. If it counts I enjoy TIH too, Norton's always great. That's it really. I've watched tons of capeflicks multiple times over the years because the local channels don't really buy a lot of stuff, and they replay them all the time. Back in the day, Raimi-Man, Burton Batman, the F4, and the X-Flicks were playing practically every weekend noon. I'm not invested at all in the MCU, it's just a way for me to get more merch as it brings the comics to a wider audience. Which is a monkey's paw, but that's another discussion. I don't find the MCU flicks to be enjoyable movies, at least the things from around 5 years in or so. Ever since Avengers they began to feel like tv productions. I've watched Alfie & Phone Booth more times than I've watched most MCU flicks. Maybe it's because I was never that invested into all those characters? I grew up with Spider-Man, X-Men, F4, and so on (plus Batman). With the exception of Iron Man and the SHIELD stuff, which I didn't find them to be all that well-translated, I didn't care. I liked the Ultimates, not the Avengers. Maybe that plays a role, general interest.

This movie might as well be The Godfather after watching 45 minutes of WW84. Wow. I’m even more impressed this was as enjoyable and fun as it was.
