Such a beautiful overall piece for a great price.

Not sure i would want my name on that plate though. It's pretty cool, but risky if you decide to sell it later.

I spoke with Blitzway, you dont have to have name on plate. obviously let them know when ordering.

I'm stuck on shipping quotation... ordering 50+units is going to be killer.

So it looks like I can't buy this because I'm in Australia?

Any ideas?

Has Blitzway told you directly? I've sent them the question but have yet to get a response.

I noticed Australia isn't listed on their licensed territories. It doesn't necessarily mean its not available, sometimes we're just left off because we're tiny.

*Licensed Territory : US, EU, China, HongKong, Japan and Korea

It would be very odd if we're specifically excluded here ...they're selling to the US, Europe, Japan and China/HK which is 99% of the collecting market.

I emailed Blitzway when this was first announced and the response I got was that it can be shipped to Australia. So not sure why Australia wasn't listed on the website.

I can't imagine paying $200+ for shipping considering it's 1/3 of the cost of the statue.

Yep, same here. If it indeed costs over 200 to ship this to Australia then I'm out. No way I'm paying over 800 bucks for this. I like Bruce, but not THAT much lol.

Well where does it ship from? I seriously doubt it would be more than $100 max from America, if it's Asia it will be cheaper than that.

It can't be that heavy, not as heavy as some SS pieces I've had (although they do get cheaper rates).

Maybe we can get a confirmation before we buy? As far as I can see you don't pay to pre-order although I didn't go through the next screen.

The fact that I'm second guessing the piece means I might just pass. Maybe.

This is pretty much the mantra I go by. I can't justify spending $150 on a 1/6 that I'll only see the glaring flaws on, so spending upwards of $700 on this is not happening.

This was the exact reason I passed on the Tron Legacy Rinzler 1/4 statue - the pose was absolutely horrible as was the base.

I seriously get angry every time I see it knowing how it could have been made infinitely better.

When I look at a statue and the first thing I think is "wow, cool base" then it's a pass. I'm fine with the likeness and it's a well detailed piece, but... something this big and this iconic deserved a signature pose and expression imo.

totally agree..cheap but not cheap..we want the definitive BL and for me,this aint it..close but not close enough.

:exactly::lecture:goodpost:

guys the bottom line here is that the head is terrible..pose sucks...base too big!!! its not really about the price or shipping!! If head and pose was spot on none of us would b talking about it..it would have been a done deal and SOLD!

But the truth here it is not spot on and in todays collecting world with so many statues and figures being made and offered there is no room for stuff ups!!! companies cannot get things wrong anymore...bruce lee is a fkng icon and it really is not good enough!!!

Hold on to your money because the statue which will be spot on might be closer than you think!!!

:peace

I agree with most of this but the price does play a major factor to me.

Baring in mind that different lenses can make faces appear longer and narrow or wider etc, but the pic that Arnie took of the sculpt looks plenty lean to me, not that I had an issue with it before,

Bruce looks like he just got some really bad news.

It says in their FAQ that after you fill out and submit the order page, you will receive an email from Blitzway requesting full payment via PayPal. Your order is not secured until you send the payment.

I am interested in this piece but only if I can order it from a US retailer.

So I tried to have a quick go at shipping costs.

Blitzway just gives a vague, 'it'll be charge at standard FedEx/DHL shipping rates.

Going to FedEx HongKong:
https://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/home?cc=hk&language=en
I put in the details for a 14Kg box from Hong Kong to Melbourne with International Priority Shipping and it came to about $250 !!!

lulz really would help to get some more info from Blitzway here.....

(by comparison Sideshow charge about US$70 to get a 1/4 PF statue from the US to my house)

Blitzway is actually in Korea not Hong Kong. After looking at the pictures over and over again, they actually are not bad. The face is not spot on, but not bad either. Or maybe I just brainwashed myself into thinking that. :D

It came to about $266US to the US, I really hope I am wrong

thanks Eric, thats gonna be a deal breaker for me, too bad; is the brucelee website located in the US?

If I calculated right, it's around $305US shipping for me, & if I want to get fancy & have it shipped via priority shipping, it's around $417US :rotfl

Well that's that then :lol
