about time Brandon got a high class figure..not too sure on the mouth/teeth my 1.1 bust has a similar smile but the teeth arnt as prominent..also the mouth needs more black added,a tad too red.

got the same email, i think its a great way for them to save us money, happy that they went through that effort, but you gotta remember blitz still has to ship it to your local retailer and it will still add some shipping costs, instead of $200, it might be $150, my guess

Blitzway is actually in Korea not Hong Kong. After looking at the pictures over and over again, they actually are not bad. The face is not spot on, but not bad either. Or maybe I just brainwashed myself into thinking that.

This one is the best Bruce Lee ever if the final product is like these pictures. Polystone material and 1/3 scale are the right decissions. After Enterbay sucks 1/4 scale plastic dolls that one is a diamond. Thanks blitzway
I use to be against 1/4 plastic dolls and thought only statues should be 1/4 scale. However, after seeing what Enterbay produces why does it matter if they are dolls if you can't see the joints?
People will think anything is a doll if it has clothing on it.
I showed this Bruce Lee to one of my friends and told him the price and he said that is too much for a doll. Of course I set him straight and said it is not a doll but a statue that was over 2 feet tall and then he understood why it cost so much.

Because most of the times poses still don't look natural. They don't to me, at least.
What do you mean by Hybrid statue? Mixed media with clothes?

So let me ask the obvuious question:
If Blitzway took no financial information when we placed these "direct" orders, what is stopping anyone from just ordering through the retailer with a possible discount?
Also, will these forwarded orders from Blitzway be monitored properly to make sure people get their engraved plaques?

Yeah that is why I deleted my post I figured it out. Plastic head on polystone body right? However, what is so good about a hybrid statue as compared to one like this one below that is all polystone?
I don't know about you, but I've never seen a polystone head sculpt as lifelike as the ones Enterbay/Hot Toys do.

Yeah but that might be because of skin texture and sideshows bad paint jobs. I think this one here with skin texture looks life like.

Protos from SDCC that are painted by inhouse Sideshow painters don't count
Well, of course all that plays a big part. Sideshow paint apps never look nowhere near as good as the protos. EB/HT head sculpts, though, are quite close.

As good as that head sculpt is (and it is VERY good — Trevor Grove is a really talented artist that EB/HT/Bw should hire), it still looks like a 'granite' face to me. You said it yourself, the texture isn't there.

Yeah Trevor is the number one Arnold sculptor IMO. The EB BD one is very good and nearly dead on but still not as good as any of Trevor's Arnold's.
As for skin texture though, it appears to be there as you can see the pores but I guess I do see what you mean by how it looks like a Granite face though.
Certainly. That proto is a terrific head sculpt with an excellent paint job, but these latest PVC head sculpts are in a different league, imo.
Trevor is imo the portrait guy to go. I think he achieves the better likenesses overall, not just Arnie. The man's really gifted. It's a pity Sideshow's paint apps don't match his excellence.

Well you can always get them repainted even though I know u shouldn't have to for the price those statues cost. However, like you said the PVC head sculpts look more real regardless of paint right?
