loved borderlands and started borderlands 2. started playing with a friend online from a different location and no matter what we did, we would get over run. the more we killed, the more came after us. we were on the easiest level for multi-player and still got smoked even though both of us were fairly good at the game. i don't know if this has been corrected in the game but we stopped playing because it's no fun to get your *ss handed to you every time. LOL

I think the problem is you were not fairly good at the game :D

Or maybe started playing in a hard difficulty setting?
But the start of the game is very easy on normal setting ...I'm not sure how anyone could die constantly?

How far in are you talking?
I guess you don't get access to your special characters power until an hour or so in ?

You don't have to start over. Just re-load your character in "True" or "Normal" mode and complete any quests there you haven't done unless you've done them all.

The DLC is also not closed out because you complete it in one mode, you can play it up to three times with the same character in each of the different modes and still earn XP. And it saves your progress across ALL of the different game modes.

hmm, ok cool - will have to check it out...if so, AWESOME.

Jumped back to Normal Mode with my Lvl 56 Commando and completely destroyed Pete, Hyperius, and Master Gee...as well as Terramorphus and picked up a "Lvl 50 Slayer of Terramorphus" mod. Love being able to solo the Raid Bosses as well as kill some easy enemies for Badass points.

On further note: RANDY PITCHFORD HAS ANNOUNCED MORE DLC FOR BORDERLANDS 2!

Great news in my opinion as I LOVE this game.

I'm guessing we'll see more Skins/Heads but most likely AT LEAST 2 more DLC Quests with the last one of them potentially setting things up for Borderlands 3 on Next-Gen. Much like "Robot Revolution" for the original Borderlands set things up for Borderlands 2.

If you listen to the ending of "Assault on Dragon's Keep" there's a mention on where one of the next DLCs COULD be.

After wrapping up "the game". Maya comes up the stairs and mentions to the original Vault Hunters playing the game that the Hyperion spy has spilled the codes for the Hyperion Lunar Base (The giant "H" space station floating around that launches loaders). Perhaps we'll see a Space-oriented DLC? It could be assaulting the giant "H" Hyperion Base that Jack was hiding out at for a while.

Honestly, here is the DLC I want: a mission to take out that Hyperion space station that has been orbiting Pandora the whole game....and after that, no more Hyperion, ever! Had to go back and restart DLC4 on True Vault Hunter mode; the ultimate mode almost killed me psychocially, lol....much more fun now -

Problem with the modes: TVHM = pretty easy with a level 60 character

UVHM = impossible (almost) with a level 60 character

I have played this game the equivalent of 9 solid days, so have definitely put some time into this one. Great stuff

Well, I tried out TVHM, and got my *** kicked, but played co-op for a while and got up to level 43, which was nice. One kind fellow duped me a Bee Shield and an Rapid Infinity Pistol, which kicked *** but once the enemies out leveled me the Infinity Pistol was rather useless.

I just dropped back into Normal Mode and I'm just going to finish out the DLC. The tougher enemies just aren't worth it. I'm not one of those dudes that loves a challenge, haha.

Is True the one right after you beat normal mode, or the new difficulty that got released?

I'm doing the one you can start on right after beating the game, and was shocked at the difficulty. I'm a lazy Borderlands-er, in that I find guns I like, and stick with them long after I should have upgraded. That said, I was still a bit surprised how useless they'd be on the new mode.

I'm progressing through the story steadily, but that's 95% due to my turret being awesome.

True Vault Hunter Mode is the difficulty opened after beating the game on normal. If you have the right set up, and a strong enough character, some of the bosses are a joke (I can solo Terramorphous on TVHM all thanks to my bee shield) but others can kick my *** unless I can glitch them. Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode is the newest difficulty added and from what I heard its brutal on solo.

Yeah, so I'm on True, then. It's not horrible, I guess the curve of mowing people down with my loadout at the end of BL2, that my guns seem weak by comparison.

My turret is the jam, though. So I just toss it out and let it go wild.

I just started UVHM yesterday. . . I can't even beat the Bullymongs right at the start of the game.

FFFUUUUUUUUU. . . .

I guess the point is that you have to play co-op in UVHM??

You don't have to, but it helps a ton. If you can't beat the bullymongs, you may be rockin the wrong gear.

So, I should just go back and farm The Warrior in TVHM?

I know not to farm the optional missions in TVHM, because that stops the gear from scaling in UVHM, correct?

TBH, I don't know if that's the case or not. I never tried it. I'd recommend farming Terramorphous rather than Warrior if you can. His Legendary drop rate is a bit better. Tougher to kill, but I've always had better luck with drops from him. Warrior I've farmed for hours and only had a few legendary drops. I'd also recommend farming for the Bee shield if you don't have one too. Even after they nerfed it, it's still awesome and I use it almost exclusively. Which character do you use? I have an easier time soloing with characters like Axton and Gage because of the distractions they have.

I have a Bee, but it's from way long ago, and the capacity is only around 3k, so it's kinda useless to me now :(.

I'm using Zero now. I'd started a new playthrough with Axton, but wanted to finish out Zero. . . it'll probably be easier if I just use Axton though, I'm more of a solo player anyways.

I'd recommend looking up Shift Codes and using your Golden Keys on the Sanctuary Treasure Chest to get more items closer to your level.

The Golden Key chest always spits out Purple Items and some are even better than any Legendary Items you pick up.

Here's a website with a comprehensive list of Shift Codes for Golden Keys (and other items) that are NOT currently expired. I check it pretty regularly and have inputted a lot of Shift Codes for it just to get the keys. I have over 100+ Golden Keys thanks to it.

I see. Yea, if you feel like it, the Bee is usually a pretty easy drop...comparatively anyway. A high level one will give you a huge damage boost and make good guns seem godly.

You might want to farm the Bunker too. I got some really good stuff from it and the drop frequency is great. It's a pretty easy win too.

Zero is a beast for damage output on a single target but tough for crowd control. Axon is great for soloing. The turret can be an awesome second player when you spec it out. It can clean house and it gives you bonuses while it's active. The best crowd control tool I can think of.

Yeah, I follow Randy Pitchford on Twitter, so I'm loaded up on Keys. I was trying to save them all for UVHM. I'm trying to play it smarter now, changing up my play style a bit. I've killed a bunch of Bullymongs now :) It's a lot tougher, but I'm making progress.

Good to know. I'll try dropping back into TVHM to farm Bunker.

You probably know this already, but everything in the first few areas is weak to fire. Especially the bullymongs.

Watched the Nickelodeon Ninja turtles Season finale tonight and they had Steve the Bandit's "Heyoo" at the end of the episode!
