My boyfriends have a habit of going back with old flames that they hadn't been with in a long time and only talked ____ about. Guess they like what they say they don't. The last one did me in and I haven't dated since and I'm not going out of my way looking for it.

It's nice that that you guys can just go out and get laid and it helps you forget. Sex would be the last thing on my mind at that point and if it was, it's still frowned apon for women to do that anyway.

You gotta understand, I have long relationships with guys. My last one was almost 2 years, the one before that 3 and so on. So it wasn't like it was brought up during a date. You tend to talk about things and it comes up over time.

Hopefully you're not thinking they're going to give it up after a couple of dates because that's not going to happen often. And you have to decide what you're looking for, just sex, or a relationship.

I have the patience of a saint, but I get frustrated with the whole dating thing. What to do, how to act...it's a big pain in the ass.

I'm not talking about girls giving it up on the first date or anything like that, I'm talking about year long relationships, it would be like they would like to get it on, but then weeks would pass by, they were never into it, and it happened with more than one girl, so at first I thought maybe that's just normal and I have to control myself, but like I said, I started to hear from friends how they would get it on every other day, and then I read online about girls that wanted it more than the guys, sounds naive from my part I guess, I guess I never gave it much thought, now I wish I didn't wasted so much time with the wrong people

Love you Ween. Truly do! However, there is no girl I would rather have than her. She had my heart. She still does. I just wasn't empathetic enough to her constructive criticism. I am learning that many men endure it. We just have to be calm and cool. I really flubbed it... granted she would correct me far too often and late at night when I was sleepy. My threshold for being corrected or lectured at that point, is next to nil.

I am a "project guy."

But isn't everyone a project to an extent? We all have our own issues, demons, and problems. Oh well. She is really adamant of not losing me as a friend. Every other guy she has been with, she did not want friendship in the end.

Thing is I don't want friendship. I have enough girls as friends.
