Break ups suck. How do you rebound from a break up?

One of two things. If it's something little, I'll just ____ing do it. Take the five minutes to send the nag-meter back into green. But if it's red-lining on a serious issue, I just flick the off switch. I used to battle back and get into huge shouting matches and it never did any good. She'd wind up hitting me and I'd wind up using names (despite warnings mind you) that she doesn't like. Not productive. Especially with kids. Now I just ignore her. It bothers her more that I pretend she doesn't exist, than the fact that I don't agree with her. So I'll usually play that card for a few days until she comes around and starts doing little things to tell me she's sorry (because she'll never admit it). The times I'm wrong, I man up and apologize when I realize it. It's not worth your pride to milk a bull____ argument.

Trailer Park Boys freaking rocks! I love the Green Bastard episode... and of course, Conky! Ahahahaha! The second movie rocked as well. The first one, not-so-much.

I feel for you bro. I really do. Part of my break up was not being to handle the constant constructive criticism of my ex. I just couldn't take it. I should have been a rock. I wasn't.

You probably weren't a bad boyfriend. You just weren't ready. It was probably a two-way street. Where they ever in the wrong? Of course! We want to think we could have handled things better, but they could have as well. Both people have to work on it. It can't be just the one person. Unfortunately in relationships, one side is more selfish than the other, and that's primarily where problems ensue.

I get dumped a lot. Despite my best efforts and purest intentions, sooner or later, I always end up being a crappy boyfriend. That said, it doesn't help that I seem to date the most unforgiving and selfish girls I can find.

After a breakup I don't search for other women or sleep around, even though sometimes I think I want to. I just focus on myself. My life, my hobbies, my education, my health, and my goals. This is where I currently stand. My heart was broken earlier this year. Since then I've been devoted to improving myself as best as I can. Learning to enjoy my own company again. Trying to forgive myself for my own mistakes, as well as forgiving others who have wronged and hurt me. Most of all, I would like to love myself again. I can't fairly allow someone else to do the same until then. Hopefully sooner or later someone will come along, take notice, and give me a shot. Maybe one of these times I won't screw it up. Until then, I'm prepared to spend a lot more time alone.
