Yeah, its not a bad looking basebody. Definitely excited about this one; an odd figure, but I think the kiche factor will be quite fun.

Somewhat OT - anyone ever hear of 1/6 figures being made from 2001? I tried to
find an old thread with search but no luck.

Yes, it was a custom run of figures... but unfortunately it seems the maker sent out some and then disappeared with a lot of people's money. I think some people here got burned.

They show up on eBay every so often but sell for around $1200

I should have said besides the infamous Twinch ones. I suppose it is extremely
unlikely that any company would try to them given the licensing issues, and the
relatively small fan base.

Sorry, thought those were what you were talking about. But I think you are right... Kubrick based figures just don't seem to happen unless its custom jobs or small production runs like CRM.

11.25 - BUCK ROGERS FIGURE UPDATE: We are almost there folks! Just hang on! We hit a couple of snags, but are full steam(punk) ahead! The ATOMedia body is in final stages and will be ready within days. (Very Complex Engineering) As with the gun, all pre-order folks will have the product ship direct from China. Barring anything unforeseen, we should get in just under the holiday wire. I know you will agree that it is better to have it right than to rush and be disappointed! My Christmas wish is to make it easier to be accurate. I come bearing some not so good news. Despite our best efforts, we hit production delays that resulted in not having the Buck figures ship before Christmas. We have just inches to go, but it has taken more back an forth than expected on the body. As a way of making up for the delay we have added some features to make it even better...

1- Actual GLASS BUBBLE HELMET. Don't worry...it is very durable, high-quality, and it looks amazing!

2 - Die-cast studs on the bubble helmet chest piece!

3 - Die-cast buckles for the several straps!

The Skeleton is a must... I'd love a Cyclops, just not sure I'd be able to swing such a 1/6 behemoth
