Sounds like a typical case of "don't hate the game, hate the player..." going on here regarding quickscoping... All the stupid really unrealistic things in cod are the people who play the game's fault, besides obvious things like heartbeat sensors and whatnot.

So pretty much, they are taking battlefield and adding all of the things that are great in call of duty I'll still get the game because I've never regretted getting a FPS, but I still think I won't like the slow-paced feel. That combined with the fact that they're taking out a lot of bad things (commando, second chance etc.) make me think that MW3 will really be a good game, but too many people are already on the BF3 bandwagon already.

l am on the BF3 band wagon. Was never a fan of the other BF games, maybe that is because l never really played them, but when l watched others play l didn't like what l saw. The BF campaign looks like it will be way better then COD3. COD campaigns are all the same, every time and nothing really changes. So l think BF3 will win there. When it comes to online both very different and l prefer COD, l really like their simple run and gun smaller enviroments and more match types. Just my opinion on the two.

Thats all good. Thats a healthy attitude to have. The problem in the gaming community is that a lot of people seem to think that to like one means to hate the other. It's a bizarre mentality that has gone rampant to the point I havent seen in games. I see it all the time with consoles, but not to this extent with just a couple games. What this does for people, I'll never know. I'm lucky in that I enjoy both and will have a ton of gaming available to me this fall.

Call of duty was never meant to represent war... It's all about various special forces guys going at each other. the only cod that had "war" was cod4 in parts of the marine campaign but those were only a few missions.

Amazon has release day shipping for the regular but not the hardend edition that is pretty gay.

it'll probably hit eventually. I remember POing my Epic edition of Gears 3 and at first it didnt have release day shipping either. They ended up notifiying me to change if I wanted.

I'm debating whether or not I want this. If I do get it, it's going to be the Hardened, as that seems to be the best bang for your buck, but the fact that it comes out so close to Arkham City is making me wonder if it'd even be worth it.

I plan on getting arkaem city but its going to have to wait between gears call of duty and battlefield iwill be plenty busy for the year the other games will have to wait still need to ge resistance 3 eventually too

Now, see, that's the opposite for me. I'll likely be playing Arkham City until I at least get all of the riddles/beat new game+. I would be more than inclined to pick up CoD, had it come out before Arkham City. However, since Arkham City comes out about 2 weeks earlier, I'd hate to spend a hundred bucks on this only to have it gathering dust on a shelf for a month.
