Don't mind him, Nova. He's made up his mind as many have. Too bad for Dice and EA, but I dont think I'll miss them. No offense Angelo.

I've got BF on the brain, but I'm sure I'll be happy to hop back into MW3 once in a while. I think it's going to be a mess, but a fun mess a lot of the time like mw2 always was. Survival looks really promising.

:exactly::goodpost: If people have such a hard time wrapping there head around it being an old build let em go somewhere else. I agree the map wasn't the best choice for the beta but is there a reason you know of why they used an old build?

I don't know TBH. I hear different theories, but a definitive answer from EA or DICE hasn't been given. I personally believe that it wouldn't matter though. The amount of complaining tells me that these people would be saying the same stuff if it was a new build that ran perfectly.

This comment on Twitter, from 16 hours ago, is explanation enough, no?

"A lot of what you are seeing in the BETA doesn't exist in the main game already. 1st Party submissions mean we couldn't give a version of the latest code in the BETA but the retail game is well ahead of what you are seeing now with a lot more bug fixes already in place."

Well my brother-in-law is getting MW3 and i'm getting this, i'm sure give them a swap after month or so, then swap back again.

Do you guys live together? I only ask because if the online pass thing EA does now. He'll have to buy a $10 pass to use your copy of BF online hehe. BS, but it's the way of the future unfortunately.

This has been around the net for some time now. People are either choosing to ignore it or not many people have seen it.

Awww crap yeah, that sucks, i think i heard DICE saying they opted out of it, dunno for sure though.

That is what they pay game testers for. They don't have to give us a beta or a demo to get all the bugs out of it.
lolwut?

Are you just gonna ignore the monumental amount of problems MW2 had when it first launched? They put out betas and demos for a reason before release, but IW and Activision think they're perfect and petty things like live testing before a launch is beneath them.

:lecture MW1 had a Beta, and I don't remember it having anywhere near as many problems as the following games that haven't had a Beta.

Once again Battlefield gives us a beta, and MW3 gives us nothing. I will be going for the game that wants iron out the bugs before pay our hard earned cash

I just played the BF beta, had it on preorder, and will cancel now. Reminds me of better version of MOH. Its ok, but to slow for me.

and that's why MW1 was the only good, balanced, less glitchy game in the COD franchise

I agree 110%

I thought WAW was good. It did seems a lot people didnt like it but I think that was more due to the weapons then anything else.

MW1 was the best because it didnt have a thousand killstreaks IMO. That made it more about the guns and not a bunch of BS for me.

Looks very samey to me TBH. I'll get it because I'm a shooter junkie, but I can't honestly say I'm excited about it.

I think you will be in the minority there, mate. This is my opinion but I think people find it cool to hate on modern warfare games these days. I for one am PUMPED!!

I wonder if that is a flashback level with price as he looked a bit greyer in MW2!

I don't "hate" on MW3. Hell, I'm going to buy it. Doesn't mean I don't recognize that the series is getting stale. I don't say that because it's "cool" to. I say it because it's the way I feel. I've been a fan of the series since 1 and I've thought that all of the Infinity Ward games brought something different to the table. MW3 is the first time where I don't believe that.

This is the mandatory annual cash-in without the real Infinity Ward at the helm and it shows. They simply took what IW did in MW2 and did as little as possible to call it a sequel. I'm sorry if that hurts any diehard fans to hear it, but everyone else sees it as it is. This is a .5 game if ever there was one...outside of the sports franchises of course.

I'll be getting it and I'm sure I'll have fun with it though. I enjoyed MW2, so I know I'll enjoy this.

Sounds like you've made your mind up before playing the game, bud. Fair enough though if you think it is getting stale, I can sort of see your point if the campaign on this only lasts 4 hours and the multiplayer is no different. Though, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I do feel that people think it's cool to hate on the modern warfare games, however.
