Re: Hannibal Lecter by Nek74 *INTEREST*

Here are the first WIP pictures from Nek74. Looks awesome so far!!!!!! He is still in the early stages of the face mask and said there is still stuff to do to the sculpt. I think it looks GREAT!

Dark Passenger said Nek wants to remove the hair:

I just heard from Nek74 about the hair. He said he is going to remove the hair. He plans on adding the final hair to the baked head to give it a more natural balding look. Should be awesome when it's done.

I wouldn't worry about the mask either. I'm sure he'll make sure it fits perfectly before it's completed.

Amazing likeness... I'm interested in a sculpt. Maybe a jumpsuit as well.

The mask is cool, but would only really work with the whole cart get-up and I'd rather my Hannibal was more mobile :lol

Re: Hannibal Lecter by Nek74 *INTEREST*

Thanks guys, I'm far from done though!

As Buffalo Bill would probably say, It ain't over till the "great big fat person" sings! :lol

Shouldn't the mask be made to fit the Hannibal head instead of Lincoln Burrows? Just seems like jumping the gun there a bit by sculpting it on to a face it isn't going to be made for. :dunno

I totally jumped the gun, that mask is just a prototype for now. The final mask will be screen accurate and will fit the sculpt perfectly.
Inspiration gets the best of me sometimes.. :monkey3

Dark Passenger said Nek wants to remove the hair:

I meant that the hair will be removed and re sculpted once the face is complete. Same method I used with my Wikus sculpt to create those balding spots in his hair.

I gotcha now. I thought it was a second piece. Well the bald spots on Wikus were tight so I'm sure Hannibal's hair will be great!

Thanks guys :)

There should be an update within the next few days, I already made a ton of improvements.

Take your time, your work is beautiful and we all want the definitive H.Lecter, which we all agree, you can and will produce.

Can't wait to see this come to fruition.

Anyone have a link/image of this balding head that's being spoken of, I'm curious to see how the effect turned out.

Re: Hannibal Lecter by Nek74 *INTEREST*

Anthony, this is a brilliant sculpt! Your talent never ceases to amaze me! :D

Oh, he'll even make it look tighter with more sessions...

Here's what I was referring to, the dark hair was added after I baked the head to keep it intact.

It's just basically to prevent me from digging into the skull...

This is what I want to achieve with this method:

Cool, looking forward to it.

All good things to those who wait.

Re: Hannibal Lecter by Nek74 *INTEREST*

Nek74 is going to murder this sculpt. Epic won't define it...

I can't wait.
