Recieved pics of my completed custom Kite shield...decided to go for just weathered as opposed to battle damaged as I felt it would blend in better. Just waiting for it to arrive inhand before I can post pics of it on the statue...

Now that looks AWESOME... Love how it has been whethered

Here is a start on the unmasked head... Gotta do some research on how to do the cowel

Thanks Ondi.... I have been working on three head sculpts, and two full body sculpts today....lol. I like to jump around a bit when I hit the wall on one piece so to speak. Though tonight I couldn't sculpt anything to save my life....lol. It would be totally nerve racking if I hadn't gone through those types of nights with pencil and paper work.. Oh say a dozen times a year...lol.

Oh absolutely you can see you're hitting your stride now (meaning, getting comfortable with what you're doing) I'm kind of doing the same with photography. My Uncle gave me his old camera (which is an amazing camera mind you, bless him) and over the last two months the pictures I have begun taking have become completely different. Rather than the old point and shoot taking a photo has now become art for me. Learning all about the vast amounts of settings and such. It is tough to get the ol brain around it but slow and steady for me.

Anyway I look forward to seeing all your work reaching fruition, it's looking great! Must go to the Supes thread to catch up with whats going on there

Hey guys, thanks for all your great comments and feedback Should have it inhand (hopefully) by the end of the week so i'll get those pics up of the new shield with the PF as soon as

should have some more updated pics of the custom hands by middle of the week, including a first glimpse of the flag and pole

This stuff is addictive, and I am not joking at all....lol. I just keep jumping around so I can get the most energy I can in each sculpt. I have 2 more variants I want to do for the Cap head sculpt, and I currently have a full body Hulk and generic Hero sculpt. I have a pro who is willing to help me out so he is going to be looking at a few of my sculpts to offer suggestions.... It is so much fun.

Your designs look great, Spidey. I would love to put a classic head on this PF, and the heater shield is the worst part of this piece, which stinks since that's the way I wanted to display it. Keep up the good work.

THAT shield will annoy the hell out of a lot of people eventually because it looks so damn good, AND it is exactly what SSC should have done in the first place. It is a killer custom.

Savage I don't know how much any of these will cost right now, but the more interest there is the cheaper the cost would be, and I can give you a better idea once I get a quote on how much it would cost to 3D Print them. I can't see them being over the moon expensive though.

I think I an see why they do it though. It is way harder to screw up a sticker than a paint job, but even then I HATE that they went that direction.

Agreed that weathered was the route to go, one BD shield is legit enough, and a lot of the weathering of Cap would go well with the kite.



Shaun, mate, that's a great looking unmasked, you going with textured hair or slicked, either way; it looks great!
