Finally paid off/got my Cap EX this week. Awesome. The A is straight, proper buckle+fastener, Only the small metal part is painted silver on chinstrap, the Red stripe is dead center under the star and the Thompson arrived without any breakage. Only issue was the styrofoam is right crap. Thankfully I was on the one piece of carpet in the room, because when I went to cut open the tape, the head busted through the bottom onto the carpet. Super thin styro, looks ready to give way in a couple of other areas as well. Also, was caught off guard by how small the box was. Not complainig, was just suprised. Lastly, as has been covered, Kite shield as is...junk. I am not even sure why it is as bad as it is. Worse in hand than on photos/video. It almost looks like a sticker of a picture pasted on, as if it has the wrong dimensions. Round shield is great though, just too bad that kite shield is so badly lacking as to never see the light of day. Was certain I would only use that two finger hand, always loved it from the first preview, but damn if he doesnt look great holding that machinge gun!
